Different results
Hello everybody, I've been practicing with some data in R and SPSS and I noticed that there are some differences in ANOVA results. For example with : y<-c(1,2,34,2,3,45,2,1,67,3,2,67,2,2,98,4,4,23,1,1,23,2,3,45) and x<-rep(c(1,2,3),8) I get in R ( with summary(aov(y~x)) ) MSres=350.7 df=22 while in SPSS I get MSres=221.9 df=21 Can enyone explain me what is the problem or

about power of tests
Does anyone know how can I calculate power in wilcoxon.test, kruskal. test and oneway.test in an F? I have already found power.t.test for calculating power in t.test but it seems that there is nothing for the others. Any answer could be useful. Here's a basic patch which would solve it in sort of the same way as the other optimizations I was fixing (just special case the debug info & fix it up). I can work up a test case for this as well, or you can, if you like/this seems reasonable. I have two questions:   1.   Suppose I have a<-c(1:10)  (or a<-array(c(1:10),dim=c(1,10)))   and I want to end up with vector b=[0 0 0 0 0 1 1 1 1 1]. i.e. I want to substitute alla elements that are <5 with 0 and >5 with 1.   I did this by using a for loop. Installed include files
Currently when using configure --enable-header-install and doing make install the include files get installed to their own subdirectories, like: /usr/local/include/dovecot/src/lib/ /usr/local/include/dovecot/src/lib-mail/ ..etc.. But using that is kind of annoying, because you have to give -I paths to all of them with their full directories. The worst thing about that is that it requires having

Hello I tried to search for a term "deadlink" in Samba bugzilla system at https://bugzilla.samba.org/ "Entere a bug# or some search terms" I consider the word "deadlink" to be a search term. Also the [Help] states that "Bugzilla QuickSearch. Type in one or more words (or word fragments) to search for". The string "deadlink" is certainly a word.
