R-2.0.0 findVar and findFun question
Dear all,
when working on a project with embedded R, I found out that R-2.0.0 causes
a problem where older versions worked OK.
Rf_findVar(...) causes the following error when used to find a generic function
(such as print):
fun = Rf_findVar(...);
R_tryEval(fun, ...);
Error in function (object, ...) : Invalid generic function in usemethod
Alternatively, using Rf_findFun(...) seems OK in this

plot with two y axes
I'm trying to make a transition from S-plus under Windows to R under
Linux. My immediate aim is to produce a scatter plot with two y-axes
with different scales. That can be done in S-plus with a command of the
following form:
guiPlot( PlotType="Scatter", DataSet="execon",
Columns="years,hstart,ship", AxisType="Multiple Y" ),
where years, hstart, and

Problems with Silver demo
Hello, I come here as I'm having some problems with a game and WINE and was wondering if anyone can offer some advice or solutions. The program I'm trying to run is a demo of Silver, a rather old game. Here's what happens when I run it:
When I run the game I don't see the intro cinematics, can only hear it. I have to cancel it before the cinematics ends (otherwise the game hangs).

Grouped barplot with variable bar width
Hi,
I am trying create a grouped barplot (with beside=T) and would like to
plot the bar groups, not the individual bars, with a variable width.
To give an example, I would like all bars in the first group to have the
default size of 1, all bars in the second group 2, in the third 3, etc.
If I use width=c(1,2,3,..), it applies these settings to individual
bars, e.g. the first bar in the first

Grouped bar plot
Hi,
I am trying to produce a grouped bar plot from a data.frame and I'm
having difficulties figuring out how to do so. My data is 500 rows by
4 columns and basically looks like so:

Grouped AND stacked bar charts possible in R?
Good day all,
My statisticians want an R procedure that will produce grouped stacked
barplots. Barplot will
stack or group, but not both. The ftable function can produce a table
of the exact form they want, but the barplot doesn't show all the
divisions we want.
For an example, here's the sample from the help file for "ftable:"
data(Titanic)
ftable(Titanic, row.vars = 1:3)

[PATCH AUTOSEL 5.1 043/375] drm/nouveau/bar/nv50: ensure BAR is mapped
From: Jon Derrick <jonathan.derrick at intel.com>
[ Upstream commit f10b83de1fd49216a4c657816f48001437e4bdd5 ]
If the BAR is zero size, it indicates it was never successfully mapped.
Ensure that the BAR is valid during initialization before attempting to
use it.
