Converting from encapsulated postscript to encapsulated pdf
I have several old encapsulated postscript graphics generated by R that I want to include in a LaTeX Beamer presentation so I want them in pdf. Under Ubuntu linux typing convert z.eps z.pdf (to use ImageMagick) results in a nice looking graphic but the bounding box is lost. Doing convert z.eps z.epdf results in a fuzzy image with a good bounding box. Does anyone have a nice solution?

Problem with fontsize of pie-chart in postscript file

Problem with figure size when embedding fonts

R-beta: Encapsulated Postscript output with R-0.49

empty postscript output of figures
Hi, I have a puzzeling problem. I want to export graphics from R to TeX via postscript(). This works fine for some graphs, but for others, the eps remain empty when viewed with GSView. When such an empty eps is imported to TeX, the figure appears upside down and very small, irrespective of TeX width and height commands. If I transform the eps to pdf, the graphic shows up, but turned aqround 90°.

Special paper for postscript
Hi, All; When I generate a "special" paper postscript image larger than "a4" or "letter" using R, I can only see one-page portion of all image, of course. What will be the simple solution for this? I'm creating some graphs by the means of a loop and I want to save each graph in the same file (splitting making the device by the number of graphs).
