Bonjour,
Je voudrais tester l'homosc?dasdicit? entre des groupes. J'aurais alors aim? savoir quelle ?tait l'hypoth?se nulle du test de bartlett.
Merci pour votre aide.

I'm running Dovecot on a Debian system which recently has been
failing on an assert(). I have a spam mailbox that if I try and open
(from any client), the imap process dies and this is written to the

Bonjour,
Je suis actuellement doctorant (en fin de th?se) et je vais avoir besoin de me

[LLVMdev] Fwd: [LLVMbugs] [Bug 1971] New: EQUIVALENCE not supported in llvm-gfortran
Anton,
I didn't know that EQUIVALENCE is the only unsupported major Fortran
feature, as this bug says. Can you give me an update on the status of
the Fortran front-end and what the near-term goals are? I am getting
more requests from academics doing HPC compilers and it would be
useful to know where Fortran support stands. Other llvmdev'ers may be
interested too.
Thanks,

Ok. I was going to post something soon after 2.2 release, but let's do
it now.
LLVM 2.2 will contain (as a part of llvm-gcc 4.2) a port of gfortran
compiler to the LLVM

Making root equivalence work
I have several machines that must have trusted root accounts, that is, I
need to be able to run "ssh targethost command" on each by each, for the
root user. I have had no success thus far doing so. Normally for the
non-root users, all I have to do is set the /etc/ssh/known_hosts, build
up the users' ~/.ssh/known_hosts, and the users will work without
requiring passwords. (I'm

equivalence of gzipped and non-gzipped files?
I'm trying to get a backup system going using rsync --- bit of a newbie.
Just wondering if there is a way I can get rsync to recognise that a
non-gzipped file in one directory tree is equivalent to the same gzipped file
in the (say backup) tree, or vice versa. Could this be done with the
include/exclude features? I note that gzip doesn't alter the timestamp on a
file when it zips

Equivalence of Mann-Whitney test and Kruskal-Wallis test with k=2
Hi all,
The Kruskal-Wallis test is a generalization of the two-sample Mann-Whitney
test to *k* samples. That being the case, the Kruskal-Wallis test with *k*=2
should give an identical p-value to the Mann-Whitney test, should it not?
x1<-c(1:5)
x2<-c(6,8,9,11)
a<-wilcox.test(x1,x2,paired=FALSE)
b<-kruskal.test(list(x1,x2),paired=FALSE)
a$p.value

Is there an equivalence of lm's “anova” for an rpart object ?
Simple example:
# Classification Tree with rpart
library(rpart)
# grow tree
fit <- rpart(Kyphosis ~ Age + Number + Start,
method="class", data=kyphosis)
Now I would like to know how can I measure the "importance" of each of my
three explanatory variables (Age, Number, Start) in the model?
If this was a regression model, I could have looked at p values from the

Is there an exact binomial k-sample test of equivalence?
Hi, I've got one silly question for evening.
I don't know is this reasonable, but can test with two the most extreme
proportions from the samples could be good enough evidence for testing
equivalence, or should I have to look for something else...?

Postfix locking equivalence?
/etc/postfix/main.cf.default:
mailbox_delivery_lock = flock, dotlock
Is flock equivalent to dovecot's fnctl locking? For mbox what type of
locking settings should I be using? (No NFS, only local filesystem.)

Test for equivalence
Hi!
is there a way in R to check whether the outcome of two different
experiments is statistically distinguishable or indistinguishable? More
preciously, I used the wilcoxon test to determine the differences between
controls and treated subjects for two different experiments. Now I would
like to check whether the two lists of analytes obtained are statistically
distinguishable or

I don't have real help, but I'll remind you that R is case sensitive,
and it looks like that will be at least one problem in the solution your

Equivalence test and factors
Hello, helpeRs,
I recently used a linear mixed effects model followed by ANOVA to
assess the relationship between a categorical predictor variable with 2
levels (and random effects) and a numeric response variable. As I was
concerned about the lack of a power analysis prior to data collection,
it was suggested that I use an equivalence test to complement the
conventional hypothesis test.

PROC MIXED RANDOM equivalence in R nlme
Dear Dennis,
Your question assumes that people know both SAS PROC MIXED and R nlme. Only
a limited number of people do. Add the mathematical formulation of the
model. That will increase the number of people that can help you. Adding
the number of levels in each categorical variable and the number of
observation per group is useful too.

ssh user equivalence
We are getting some pushback from our SA group regarding root having ssh
user equivalence on the cluster where we run OCFS2.
Is it required to have the ssh user equivalence setup for the root user
when running OCFS2 ?
Thanks in advance,
Reid
