Allocation problem
Hi, I have a problem when using R1.7.0. I have a very large dataset, but I also have access to 24GB RAM on a super-computer. Nevertheless, when using the "lme"-function I get the error message Error: cannot allocate vector of size 224295 Kb As I understand it, the default is that there is no memory-limit in R other than machine resources, but somehow R does not get acces to the

How to include CI in a grouped barplot?
Hello everyone! I need to include the confidence interval bar in a grouped barplot. I've found some options on the web, but none of them solved my problem. The question is: my barplot was created using vectors for each pair of bar and them combining them using cbind. I mean: a=c(10,15) b=c(20,24) c=c(21,23) ... hei=cbind(a,b,c) graph1=barplot(hei, beside=T,...) I've tried to include

sweave question
Hi Everyone: I was having trouble getting the plot size correct when putting a plot in an sweave document. So, I searched on the internet and I found a clever solution where the person uses the cat function to write latex code so he can include the cat code in the chunk and place the plot using width and height. The solution is here: https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/r-help/2009-April/195094.html.

Hi all, i've to encode voice from a voicemodem. I choose speex 1.0.5 for its quality in voice encoding. I've tried to implement an encoder but unsuccesfully. Here's my code: /* ============ SPEEX stream ENCODER ============================================ */ int SPEEX_EncodePCM(struct _IDA_ClientSocket *IDA,char *buffer, unsigned char *PCM,int num_samples) { /* buffer point to the

There is an intermediate form where start and end dates have to be given to get to the required page. For example, I want to download data for a station 03015795. The form for this station is at:

[PATCH 0/2] Fix memory leaks in virtio & remoteproc cores
Hi, The following patches fix couple of memory leaks in the virtio and remoteproc cores when using these as modules, and going through a cycle of insmod and rmmod with at least a device registered with the corresponding cores in between. I ran into this on our downstream product kernels on both 3.14 and 4.1 based kernels, and should apply to the latest kernel as well. Patches can be picked up
