Problem with library
Hello. I'm using R 1.7.0 on win98 ver2. I erased all my previous versions of R, and install r 1.7.0. When I write "library()" I receive on a separate pane all the lib in ver 1.7.0, and the following msg "Warning message: library 'C:/Program Files/R/rw1051/library' contains no package in: library()" Where is this msg coming from?? How to remove it? Thnx Yakov

hist() with horiz=TRUE does not give horiz. plots (PR#372)
Full_Name: Fran Rizzardi Version: 0.90.0 OS: Solaris, NT 4.0 Submission from: (NULL) (128.32.135.223) If you use the horiz= option with hist() you get the message: Warning: parameter "horiz" couldn't be set in high-level plot() function. and the plot comes out vertical. The documentation says this option comes from barplot() and it does work correctly in barplot(). This

That's not being generated by the CreateCast, so it looks like your description of the problem was quite misleading. Ciao, Duncan. >

You'll probably need to dump both the source and the dest and show the code that's being generated. A lot of guessing here that's not getting us very far very fast. -eric On Nov 14, 2011, at 10:56 AM, Yakov Malinkovich wrote: > yes - i checked that the src->getType()->isFloatTy() is true > Yakov > > > On Mon, Nov 14, 2011 at 8:24 PM, Duncan Sands <baldrick

ylim problem in barplot
R Version 2.2.0 Platform: Windows When I use barplot but select a ylim value greater than zero, the graph is distorted. The bars extend below the bottom of the graph. For instance the command produces a problematic graph. barplot(c(200,300,250,350),ylim=c(150,400)) Any help would be appreciated. Paul [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

subject: horizontal text in barplot
I have a problem with the ylabs in barplot. When I draw the bars horizontal the text for the y axis is not drawn horizontal too. The text remains vertical. How can I change that. Thank's for your advice. There is an example below. ##Example plot.new() jib <- data.frame(c(1:15),c(11:25),c(15:1),c(25:11)) colnames(jib) <-

barplot - offsetting individual bars
Hello, I'm trying currently using barplot to summarize precipitation data. So far I've compiled total annual snow and rain accumulation in a table (attached). I've been successful at plotting it using the following code: fig=barplot(t(Annual_Precip_table), horiz=TRUE, space=0, col=c("grey70", "white"), axes=FALSE) . . The result is a stacked barplot with total

ploting labels on barplot
Again me. I want to plot the numbers on the bars of a barplot. This can be done using hist function when setting the label argument true (i.e. data <- c(1,2,3,4) hist(data, labels=T) When I try this using barplot I get an error: > barplot(summary(data), labels=T) Error in axis(if (horiz) 2 else 1, at = at.l, labels = names.arg, lty = axis.lty, : formal

barplot: border color when stacked
Dear R-users, I am using R version 2.10.1 under windows. In a barplot, I want to mark one of the bars with a special border color. For example: barplot(c(3, 7, 11), border = c(NA, "red", NA)) But how to do this when the bars are stacked? for example: barplot(matrix(1:6, ncol=3)) # border of second bar (i.e. the one with total height = 7) should be red again, I try: barplot(matrix(1:6,

tapply() and barplot() help files for 1.8.1
Hi, I've just upgraded to 1.9.0 and one of my Sweave files that produces a number of barplots in a standard manner now produces them in a different way. I have made a couple of small changes to my code to get the back the output I was getting before upgrading and now (mostly out of curiosity) would like to understand what has changed. I *think* I've tracked it down to tapply() and/or

No room for labels in barplot
