Ive created a postscript files that looks just like I want it to look except instead of being 6'' x 6'' i want it to be 2''x 2''. i used the postscipt() function (R 1.5.1 on redhat). if i use width and height in par to change the scale the figure looks terrible cause cex,mar,etc.. dont appear to change. before i start tinkering with the cex's and mar... is

Hello Everybody I have looked all though your mailing lists and your documentation and i can't find an answer to one question... How do you reboot wine.. Meaning some apps need to reboot before it can complete the install.. Rerunning the setup program does not do it, it says your last install was not completed and stops.. Solving a simple linear equation using uniroot give error object 'x' not found
Colleagues, I am trying to learn to use uniroot to solve a simple linear equation. I define the function, prove the function and a call to the function works. When I try to use uniroot to solve the equation I get an error message, Error in yfu n(x,10,20) : object 'x' not found. I hope someone can tell we how I can fix the problem
