In trying to run John Fox's new Rcmdr package on Redhat Linux 9,
I got this error message. The problem is in loading the tclck

discussed before, e.g.,
http://finzi.psych.upenn.edu/R/Rhelp02/archive/11898.html but
with respect to earlier versions of Linux and R.
I tried updating to the latest RPMs of tcl and tk (8.3.5-89), but

Selecting subset of a given vector
Hi there, given a numeric vector, I can select numbers within a
specific range. However presently, I have something related but
different problem. Suppose I have a numeric vector. Now take an
arbitrary number. Goal to to chose a specific subset with a given
length, from that given vector, so that those chosen numbers are
centered around that given constant.

[Wish]: Add "..." argument to library function
Hello,
I would find it very usefull to have the ability to load packages with options.

When loading on Windows, it automatically loads the associated GUI
executable. It should be convenient to have an option not to load the exe
but still have an access to the R functions of the package.
For that, I think a simple change

logical operations with lists
Sorry, maybe it's easy but I haven't found anything useful:
how can I obtain a list C that contains all the members in the list B that are not in list A? This are lists of nanes, not numbers!
Thank you

FCKEditor Image uploading feature
Hello,
I followed instructions on
http://www.joshuamcharles.com/rails/fckeditor.html
Added FCKEditor to my rails app which works great, but I''m not able to
upload images using the WYSISYG editor.
Is there a way to enable this feature in rails app? If not, where is the
images folder that FCK looks into it for images, so I can upload my images
manully there?
Thanks,
- Dunnil
