Here is another, perhaps trivial, plotting question. I am making a filled contour plot and have almost everything dialed in the way I want it. The last hurdle (that I can foresee) is adjusting the look of the key. I'm plotting the 25%, 50%, 75%, and 95% quantiles and I want the key to be evenly spaced, e.g., the width of the 25% and the 95% should look the same on the key. They are labeled

Hi all, Does anybody know how to add contour lines to a filled contour plot? I want to draw a single contour around values that are above a certain level (e.g., significant). The problem I'm having is that since the filled.contour command actually draws two plots (data and the key), adding contour lines paints them over both plots. Any suggestions? Hi, I want to draw a level plot. The levels are not evenly spaced, so I did something like: levels=c(0,2,5,10,30,60). I still want the color bar (key) on the right side to be evenly spaced so that the small numbers (0,2,5) are not squeezed together. Does anyone know how to do it? Thanks! Jinfeng
