Keyword limit?
Running into a weird issue in a mailbox that has 26+ keywords.
In one session, I do this:

Sorry.
You're right about the univariate numeric operators. My bad.
However, I was expecting !x to return a time series, just like the
binary logical operators do.

Learning ruby question
I''m having trouble understanding Ruby''s concept of scope. Could
someone explain the difference between the following 2 programs.
They both return the same output "aaaaaaaa", but I''m just not sure
about self in #1. Is self.day and self.title referring to and setting
class variables or are they instance variables? Thanks in advance.

Multiple SIPGate accounts.
Hi all,
I have two sipgate accounts (numbers), if I have both accounts register only
one will work for incoming calls (which is all i'm interested in). However
if I disable either account the other account will work perfectly. Am I
missing something obvious?
Thanks in advance,
Ray.

Hacking attempt, Asterisk 1.4
Hi all
We have an Asterisk server that?s been running for a few years now without
problems. We have IPTables running, as well as fail2ban and have followed
all the security recommendations we have found.
Every few weeks we get an attack that lasts about a minute or two, resulting
in our AGI script being overloaded.
What happens is that somebody seems to be trying to connect from our

iconnect here, inbound yes, outbound no
silly me, I thought the inbound would be the hard part. how little I
knew...
can someone please give me any insight into why outbound is not
working, in fact why trying to enable outbound fouls up everything?
I'm using asterisk, most recent from cvs, I'm behind a nat, and I'm
trying to use iconnecthere.com for outbound and inbound.
Inbound is working fine, no problems.

Sieve vacation not working
I've been trying all night to get vacation working in my
.dovecot.sieve file. The way our email works is we have one account on
dovecot which serves my mail and my wife's and we use procmail and
sieve to put the emails in different folders depending on who it's
for. I'm trying to set up a vacation reply on my wife's email address

Printing Postscript - Very Weird Problem.
Hey folks,
okay, here's the situation - I have a Centos 4.2 system with cups printing
installed printing via postcript (with appropriate PPD file) to a HP
LaserJet 1320N printer (via jetdirect socket 9100).
Everything seems to work right - except for an unusual 'font'??? problem.
Many letters seem to be just slightly garbled. At first I thought this

Request for help - adding text files to a data frame
Hello Everyone,
I have a data frame which looks something like this:
V1 <-c(1,2,3)
V2 <-c(5,6,7)
V3 <-c(9,10,11)
df <- data.frame(V1,V2,V3)
I want to add couple of text files at the beginning of df and save
the df as a csv file.
The csv file should look something like this:
"AAAAAAAA"
"BBBBBBBBB"
"CCCCCCCCC"
V1 V2 V3

Newly joined DC - Failed to bind to uuid for ncacn_ip_tcp .. NT_STATUS_INVALID_PARAMETER
Following up on this post for the benefit of the archives, I don't
want to be another DenverCoder9! [1]
I believe I have fixed this issue now (although I am at a loss to
explain how it occurred in the first place). Hopefully I correctly
figured out what SPNs should be present against each machine - I'm not
an expert in this area, but am describing the process I went through

performance breakdown with Xen 3.4.3 or 4.0.0 and xenified kernel 2.6.31-r14
Hello,
I regularly perform benchmarks of Xen/KVM systems. When Xen 3.4.3 was released I started another benchmark and found out that the xenified kernel 2.6.31-r14 from Andrew Lyon had serious performance breakdowns when used with Xen 3.4.3 or Xen 4.0.0 but not with Xen 3.4.2. The benchmark measures compiling apache 2.2.15 under gentoo.
What could be the reason?

Strange problem with MS Office while saving
Hi all,
I sometime have a strange behavior when using MS Office and saving
files.
First things first:
- OS CentOS 6.7 x86_64
- SAMBA version 3.6.23, configured as member server (see [1] for full
configuration)
- inotifywait watching my shares to replicate them off-site
- about 100 W7/W8 clients with MS Office 2010
Using inotifywait, I tracked how MS Office file save function works.

drs showrepl - Failed to bind to UUID - Undetermined error
Hi Guys,
I have now updated to 4.5.0 - thank you to all the team for your efforts on
this :)
I was excited to read in the release notes that there were many replication
improvements, and I have run 'samba-tool dbcheck --cross-ncs --fix' on all
my DCs; there were many, many replPropertyMetaData and other errors which
have now been found and fixed - thanks!
However, I think something
