Anybody have expirience with Powercom Imperial 1500 VAC (USB interface)?
Hello !
Anybody have expirience with Powercom Imperial 1500 VAC (USB interface) ?
Under FreeBSD 6.2 it's shown as uhid device:
uhid0: POWERCOM CO., LTD. USB to Serial, rev 1.00/0.00, addr 2, iclass 3/0
usbhid-ups doesn't recognize it, and powercom driver doesn't work with
uhid device.
It seems for me that FreeBSD doesn't support it, so it doesn't create

Well, I have been busy, and it is time to force move dovecot forward.
Being 'lazy' I am doing some initial tests on my POWER platform using an
old debian distro to build the latest (via git).
That has been

Compiling Samba4 RC3 on AIX 6.1 with IBM vac
Sorry - the first post got sent as a response to an unrelated thread :-(
...........................
Hi, I'm trying to get a samba4 build on AIX 6.1, and run into a couple of
problems:
1. The entire Kerberos Heindal #includes need to be explicity included(with
path)
2. In order to get the ldap definitions (ldap.h etc) I've installed
openldap 2.4.28.
3. Learning to hate '//'

multi-comparison of means
Hi all:
I have a question about multi-comparison.
The data is in the attachment.
My purpose:
Compare the predicted means of the 3 methods(a,b,c) pairwisely.
I have 3 ideas:
#idea1
result_aov<-aov(y~ method + x1 + x2)
TukeyHSD(result_aov)
diff lwr upr p adj
b-a 0.845 0.5861098 1.1038902 0.0000001
c-a 0.790 0.5311098 1.0488902 0.0000002
c-b -0.055 -0.3138902

R 2.8.1
Windows XP
I am trying to plot the results of a coxph using plot(survfit()). The plot should, I believe, show two lines one for survival in each of two treatment (Drug) groups, however my plot shows only one line. What am I doing wrong?
My code is reproduced below, my figure is attached to this EMail message.

Yes. Plus extended features. Key difference with GCC, e.g., are the
flags to the compiler, but autotools general manages those well.
Key difference with platform (well, of of) is that it is not GNU, and
how shared libraries are built. Again, libtool in particular,

qemu -display sdl,gl=on also eats CPU
I was testing Ilia's patches for ddx, and while they definitely helped for Xorg itself,
qemu still eats a lot of CPU if launched like this
qemu-system-x86_64 -cdrom ~/Downloads/ISO/slax-English-US-7.0.8-x86_64.iso -m 1G -display sdl,gl=on -enable-kvm
and left for few hours.

Initial values of the parameters of a garch-Model
Dear all,
I'm using R 2.8.1 under Windows Vista on a dual core 2,4 GhZ with 4 GB

I'm trying to reproduce a result out of "Analysis of Financial Time

In R I'm using the fGarch library.

Pacaging/build issues with AIX and vac (dovecot-2.2.25)
Hi.
I finally decided it was really time to stop being lazy and really move
away from gmail. After I have a server in my basement using power, etc.
So I turned on the imap provided - and did not quite cry - it will have
to do for now, but imap2 is wanting.
A real server yes, but not Linux. (Using linux would require another
server AND I would feel I am being lazy again).
So, I downloaded
