Rscript -e, Sweave and tempdir()
Hello R-Help
I have a question about the "behind the scenes" behaviour of the Rscript -e command and particularly its interaction with Sweave and tempdir().
We are trying to deploy R as a web service to do water quality analyses and have been writing software to call Sweave via Rscript eg:
cmd> Rscript -e Sweave('sweavefile.Rnw')
One problem we have been having is that

apply family functions
Hi all,
I would like to flag each record in the data according to certain conditions
as specified below.
For example,
If "Close_date" in *dat* is between ("Open" & "Close") or ("Open1" &
"Close1") or ("Open2" & "Close2") in *oc, *flag the records as "Valid",
otherwise "Invalid"
I would like to

[PATCH] v2v: make virsh command quiet if v2v is quiet (RHBZ#1358142)
Pass -q to virsh if virt-v2v was run with -q, to reduce its output in
quiet mode.
Unfortunately this does not currently work in virsh as it should, see
RHBZ#1358179, so only after that bug is fixed this change can actually
take effect.

[PATCH] v2v: -o libvirt: always write pool names (RHBZ#1141631)
When creating the XML for the new guest, always put the name of the pool
containing the disks, even when -os specified a pool UUID: libvirt does
not handle pool UUIDs for storage, but only names.

GlusterFS, Pacemaker, OCF resource agents on CentOS 7
Hi guys
I'm wondering if anyone here is using the GlusterFS OCF
resource agents with Pacemaker on CentOS 7?
yum install centos-release-gluster
yum install glusterfs-server glusterfs-resource-agents
The reason I ask is that there seem to be a few problems
with them on 3.10, but these problems are so severe that I'm
struggling to believe I'm not just doing something wrong.

Pacemaker bugs?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Hi!
I think I stumbled on at least two bugs in the CentOS 7.2 pacemaker package,
though I'm not quite sure if or where to report it.
I'm using the following package to set up a 2-node active/passive cluster:
[root at clnode1 ~]# rpm -q pacemaker
pacemaker-1.1.13-10.el7_2.4.x86_64
The installation is up-to-date on both nodes as of the

level assignment
Hi,
i would like recocde some numeric variables in one
step, but hanging unexpected in a level asignment problem?
for(i in 2:length(msegmente))
{ msegmente[,i] <- as.factor(msegmente[,i])
}
Problem is that not every level is in every variable, so the
asignment is necessary!?
levels(LT.200301) <- c(1=AK,3=GC,10=OC,
29=AM,32=IA,38=ACH,52=ZBA,53=A9L,59=EHK)

Problem implementing 'waldtest' when using 'mlogit' package
Hi all,
I have been working through the examples in one of the vignettes associated with the 'mlogit' package, 'Kenneth Train's exercises using the mlogit package for R.' In spite of using the code unchanged, as well as the data used in the examples, I have been unable to run a Wald test to test two models.
Specifically, I have run the following command, where mc and mi2 are

trouble joining win xp machines to samba with ldap backend DC
Greetings,
I would like some help figuring this out. I really don't know what to do
anymore. whenever I try to join an XP machine to the domain it comes up
that username or password is not correct. However I know that the
credentials are correct, but when I check the logs of that specific
machine, this comes up:

ILEC Interconnect
Hello Everyone,
We are looking to interconnect with a local ILEC over an OC-n transport layer.
They basically gave us two options in terms of mapping the SONET to the DS3:
* VT1.5s mapping
* DS1s mapping
The second option is quite clear. We would MUX the connection, and plug
the lines into qaud t1 cads etc... The tech mentioned that with the second
option we would also need a DACS to convert

FastIPSec and OCF
Hi,
Does FASTIPSec in FreeBSD use OCF framework ? Where can I find more
documentation ?
I wish to run cryptographic algorithms after setting a VPN. What command
should I use to run a particular crytographic algorithm (e.g. 3DES etc.)
Where can I find all such information ?

How to plot two functions a(t) & b(t) along with x & y axes respectively in r ?
Sir,
I,
Tanumoy Pal, a student of M.Sc. Statistics ,am a beginner in R language. I want
to write a program on SPRT in R. For this i want to draw the OC curve. You know
that for drawing of OC curve we have to draw L(πh ) vs. πh . I
want to know that is there any default function exists in R which can give this
graph? That is, if we give the range of h, the function
will give the

some clients cannot login
I have a problem that's happening randomly in my network. Starting a
couple of weeks ago, some clients (All of my clients are running Windows
XP)on my network cannot login to their sessions and windows brings out
an error saying that the domain controller is not available or is
blocked. I don't understand why this is happening, seeing that other
clients can perfectly log in their computers

Is Pacemaker integration ready to go?
I have seen many references online to being able to use OCFS2 with
Pacemaker, but the documentation I have been able to find is very Sparse.
I have kernel 2.6.29, and the latest DLM and Pacemaker (using openais)
and OCFS2-Tools from GIT. (As of June 13).
I was able to build ocfs2_controld.pcmk ... (With some minor changes to
the makefile for my install)
I noticed the OCF version of o2cb is not

When running in verbose mode, dump the XML we created for libvirt:
this way it is easier to debug mismatches between what we want to setup
in libvirt, and what actually gets defined.

graphics question
Hi
after browsing the documentation and web, I'm completely lost as how to
create the graph I describe below (as best as I can).
I've got 3 pairs of average response times: (390,396), (416, 421),
(406,415). Each of these pairs represents a level of a certain factor
(let's call it 'loc'), namely (in the same order), levels "c", "nc" and
"ni".
