[OFF]- Xemacs, delete key and ESS
Hi, I use R with XEmacs and ESS, when I'm editing a R file in XEmacs, the delete key work like the Backspace key. This behaviour is only in XEmacs + ESS + R file, it dont have this behaviour on a R section (M+R). Anybody know how to make a delete key to work like the delete key?? ESS tab completion for file names
Hi all, Using Xemacs/ESS (Xemacs 21.4-12/ESS 5.1.24), I noticed that tab completion does not work for file names. df <- read.csv("xx [TAB] doesn't complete the file name. After hitting TAB, I get "last thing matched was not a buffer" in the status bar. Any idea what may go wrong? Thanks for any advice Pascal

printing from windows() device when running R under ESS
Sorry for the cross-post: not sure whether it's Rterm or ESS (or something else?)... I'm running R (1.5.0 patched 2002-05-09, compiled from source on WinNT4) under ESS 5.1.21 with XEmacs 21.4.6. When I plotted a graph on the windows() device, and then use the menu in the R graphics window to print the graph, the printer selection dialog box does not show up until I go to the *R* buffer
