possible bug running Finale 2009 on Wine 1.2
Hi,
I'm running Finale 2009 on Wine 1.2.2 on Kubuntu 10.10. Everything works great, including MIDI and VST playback, but I just noticed a bug in the Manage Parts dialogue. When I click the "Add to Part" button, Wine crashes with an error dialogue, and then freezes when I click to close the error dialogue. The "Remove from Part" button works fine, I have replicated this

creating an output file name using cat
I am having problems trying to create file names using the cat function. I
have an array of column headers, called cnames[] that I want to use as part
of a jpeg output file. Here is the basic code I am using:
data<-read.csv("inputfile.txt")
cnames<-colnames(data)
for(i in 9:dim(data)[2]) {

Better way to define instructions using multiclasses?
Hello everyone,
I'm still new to llvm and therefore wonder if there's a shorter way for
the following situation, see attached td-file:
My processor has a FPU where both operands can read from a register or
from memory, and the result can be stored in a register or in memory. I
defined two cases (output to register _r and to memory _m) in a
multiclass. But I had to repeat similar code

RPart
I am using the rpart package and seem to have trouble with data sets that
have columns with no data. I look at the column data in R and all values are
NA. When this occurs, I get nothing back from the rpart function. Is there a
way to get the rpart package to ignore these columns, without knowing what
columns are empty? I have tried the na.action=na.omit and
na.action=na.exclude, but neither one

read.table not clearing colClasses
I am attempting to created colClasses for several tables, then read only specific columns. There are two different table layouts that I am working with. If I use exclusively one layout, the script works perfectly, but if I mix the layouts, it fails to grab the correct columns form layout that is read in second. It appears that colClasses fails to adopt the new structure after the first iteration.

compiling ices on solaris 9 / sparc
Hello,
Perhaps foolishly I am trying to migrate my icecast 1.3.12 / ices 0.2.3 /
LAME-3.92 from linux to solaris on sparc. icecast and LAME compiled, but
when I tried to get ices to build the following occurred. I tried to
confirm all needed libs, but must have not found something.
Any help appreciated! Thanks... error follows. -Dave D

scope argument in step function
Thanks a lot for help in advance. I am switching from matlab to R and I guess I need some time to get rolling. I was wondering why this code :

> step(fit.0,scope=list(upper=~.,lower=~1),data=ds3)
Start: AIC= -32.66
Response ~ 1
Call:
lm(formula = Response ~ 1, data = ds3)

how to call function in ../src/main
Hi, This is Kotien Wu from NIH/NCI.
We want to use R function for our web:
http://cgap.nci.nih.gov
It works for functions in R/R-1.9.1/src/nmath/standalone very well.
We have function GetPvalueForT.c which has
#define MATHLIB_STANDALONE 1
#include <Rmath.h>
double GetPvalueForT ( double t, double deg ) {
return 2 * pt(t, deg, 0, 0);
}
We create GetPvalueForT.i, which has
