Word missing after stemmed with Norwegian in Search::Xapian::TermGenerator
Hi all Xapian-devel,
Gist: https://gist.github.com/10d2222d8bffe8d7631d
I'm using Xapian-TermGenerator to extract Norwegian sentences to vsm
(vector space model) using TermGenerator. But when I test generating vsm
from 'Truet med ? stevne misforn?yd PC-kunde - PC-leverand?ren Asus likte
sv?rt d?rlig kundens misforn?yde leserbrev.' It doen't return 'asus' result
in vsm.

reading row vectors from file
Hi,
New to R, using version 2.0.1 (2004-11-15) on debian Linux (sid), kernel

I have data in files with separate vectors on each row of the file,
e.g.,
$ cat /tmp/stats

[PATCH] virtio-net: Reporting traffic queue distribution statistics through ethtool
This patch allows virtio-net driver to report traffic distribution
to inbound/outbound queues through ethtool -S. The per_cpu
virtnet_stats is split into receive and transmit stats and are
maintained on a per receive_queue and send_queue basis.
virtnet_stats() is modified to aggregate interface level statistics
from per-queue statistics. Sample output below:
NIC statistics:

Given up on Fedora Ubuntu is 1000-folder simpler
I spent several days (at least 20 hours) tying to get Fedora 11 Samba server
going. I consulted every resource that I knew including this list. When I
discovered that Fedora 11 Samba could be browsed immediately upon
installation, and a simple reboot disabled this, I gave up. I decided to try
Ubuntu. After intallation it took only five minutes of editing the smb.conf
file to make my share fully

Suggestion for "drop the loser" design and analysis in R?
Hello all,
I would like to plan and analyse a study with "k" treatments (one of which
is a "control"), with some binary outcome, in order to find the "best"
treatment (e.g: the one with a high number of "successes").
If this was done with a fixed sample size, the analysis is well known.
However, I would rather be able to "drop" treatment(s), if

I present: The Elusive 'fixprogs' script
Hi,
Here's the 'fixprogs' perl script that got missed off the 2.1.0p1
distribution. Please put this in your openssh directory, and re-run
'make install'. it doesn't need to be made executable.
For those interested, it runs through all the commands in the
ssh_prng_cmds file and tests if they work (as opposed to 'configure'
merely verifying that the executable

Sieve with links?
Is there any reason that a .active_sieve file would not load because it is a symbolic link? The target of the link is readable by the mail user, but instead of getting the trace for the .active_sieve file, I only get the trace for the default sieve file.

PS fonts are dead mid-term everywhere, and already forbidden in new

HTML sanitization
Hi.
I'm going to add HTML sanitization to markdown-js, and I wanted to hear about
other people's experience with this. This mail is long, should take about five
minutes to read, but I'll be wasting a lot more time than five minutes if I go
down a dead-end rabbit hole on this. From my comments on [the issue on GitHub][]:

[Bridge] [PATCH net-next 1/2] bridge: Add a limit on FDB entries
A malicious actor behind one bridge port may spam the kernel with packets
with a random source MAC address, each of which will create an FDB entry,
each of which is a dynamic allocation in the kernel.
There are roughly 2^48 different MAC addresses, further limited by the
rhashtable they are stored in to 2^31. Each entry is of the type struct
net_bridge_fdb_entry, which is currently 128 bytes big.

doSMP package works better than perfect, at least sometimes.
Some might have noticed that REvolution Computing released the doSMP
package to the general public about a month and a half ago, which allows
multiple cores to be accessed for parallel computation in R. Some of our
physical habitat calculations were taking an extraordinary amount of time
to complete and required over-weekend runs, which prompted our interest in
this package. What follows
