Matrix inversion
I cannot find what is the function label for matrix inversion in R. I have found 'ginv' for the moore-penrose in the MASS package, but there is probably a simple inversion operator in the base package. Where can I find it? ____________________________________________ Yvonnick Noel, PhD. University of Lille 3 Department of Psychology F-59653 Villeneuve d'Ascq Cedex (+33) 320 41 63 48

TukeyHSD for repeated measures aov ?
Hi all, I search the archive for finding a simple solution for using TukeyHSD with a multistratum aov result (a repeated emasure anova). The Question have been asked but I've found no clear answer. res<-aov(y~Fa*Fb+Error(Subject/(Fa*Fb)) ) I think that the problem is that res is an aovlist object instead of the "aov" object required by TukeyHSD. Is there an easy solution to

Hello everyone, I was able to successfully install and test Samba AD. But I'm having a problem with Google Cloud Directory Sync. In fact, I want my AD users to be automatically created on gsuite. When I configure my settings in GCDS, it does not seem to find my DN base. I did a lot of tests with Google support and they talked about an authentication security level issue. Have you ever had

smbmount - what permissions? (again)... one solution
Hello, I have found a solution on an other news group : uk.comp.os.linux There is a set of messages with the subject "Ordinary user to mount SAMBA share" You can read the content of that uk.comp.os.linux group through the web, the URL is http://x35.deja.com In one of the message the author wrote "After, further test. I find smbmount, unlike mount, requires the user owns the

(PR#7045) Re: homals: Error in y[g[i, j], ] : incorrect number
Function homals() is not part of R. It appears to be in a contributed package `homals', but you did not say so. To quote the FAQ Bug reports on contributed packages should be sent first to the package maintainer, and only submitted to the R-bugs repository by package maintainers, mentioning the package in the subject line. I have closed this bug report on R-bugs. On Fri, 2 Jul

Strange behaviour with the Homals Package
Dear R users and experts, I am using Homals to perform categorical PCA on some survey data. The documentation is a bit obscure, however, I followed the examples. X is a matrix with ordinal 1-5 Likert scale entries on 24 questions from about 2500 respondents. So I run X.nlpc = homals(X, rank = 1, level = "ordinal", ndim = 10) to get the first 10 pc's (the number of dimensions is
