pictex driver and bargraph shading
I'm trying to use the pictex driver for bargraphs, and the shading isn't showing up. Is there any way to get some sort of shading in the plots? A hatch or stipple would be fine, too; just some way to differentiate the bars. The postscript driver won't do, since I'm trying to embed this in a LaTeX document which I'll use pdflatex on and \includegraphics for pdftex doesn't

plotting (a) confidence intervals (b) standard error
Hi all, I'm building a plot of the values in tmeant (below) against positions 1 to 5, using matplot. tmeant looks like this: case1 case2 pos1 861.8466 818.5909 pos2 961.2841 976.3466 pos3 878.6080 1262.8523 pos4 950.8011 1129.6080 pos5 968.1080 1063.3920 I also have lower (object tl) and upper (object tu) bounds on the confidence intervals as follows: tl: pos1

evaluating density objects
An object of class `density' has `x' and `y' components, which are what you need to do the plot. Just bind them into a matrix and use write() to write to a file. Can asterisk support using different ip for rtp?
Currently, RTP IP have to be the same as SIP IP. But, SIP RFC allows RTP to use different IP as SIP ip. Is there any way to configure it? GUI or CLI? or , will we support it in future? How to use the function "plot" as Matlab?
Hello, How to use the function plot to produce graphs as Matlab? example in Matlab: a = [1,2,5,3,6,8,1,7]; b = [1,7,2,9,2,3,4,5]; plot(a,'b') hold plot(b,'r') How to make the same in R-package ? I am trying something thus: a <- c(1,2,5,3,6,8,1,7) c(1,7,2,9,2,3,4,5) -> b a;b plot(a,t="l",col="blue") plot(b,t="l",col="red")

[LLVMdev] GVN PRE algorithms in LLVM
The GVN algorithm used in LLVM currently (I'm rewriting it) is the basic hash based RPO algorithm. The new one i'm writing is based on http://dl.acm.org/citation.cfm?id=512536 (see https://github.com/dberlin/llvm-gvn-rewrite) LLVM has different algorithms for both scalar PRE and load PRE. They are basically variants of standard PRE algorithms transformed into SSA, but with some

Plotting several series on one set of axes
Dear All, I am rather rusty with my R, but I recall being able to do something like plot(x1,...);plot(x2,add=TRUE,...) to plot two series on the same axes. Any suggestions how this may be done will be appreciated.

Plotting Data Frame
Dear R community members, I think I am asking a very simple question, but I really looked up in the faqs and manuals and found nothing helpful. I am trying to plot a data frame with the following structure (this is just a small extract): glo conc odor line series X1 X2 X3 X4 X5 X6 X7 X8 X9 X10 X11 X12 X13 1 0 AIR LN1 UP -0.488

[LLVMdev] [GSoc] Liveness Based Flow Sensitive Pointer Analysis for GSoc 2015
Hi all, I'm a 3rd year CSE B.Tech student and have been studying LLVM since the past year. I have written a pass for doing register allocation as part of my course project and have also been studying LLVM code sections related to SSA construction, dominance frontiers,etc. I also made some contributions to the Polly project. Currently I am interested in improving the existing alias analysis

Postscript query: plotting long vectors
Hi, I have a query about the maximum length of vector that can be plotted in one go in a postscript driver. Try the following code (in 1.7.0; version details below): t <- seq(from=0, to=4*pi, length=200000) y <- sin(t) postscript(file="o.ps") plot(t, y, type="l") dev.off() If I view the postscript file o.ps in "gv", it takes many seconds before eventually

Interest in R plotting capabilities
I'm a scheme and C user generally, I'm a bit wary of the large FORTRAN content of the R language but aside from that issue it seems nice and simple and easy to use. What I want to do is find some GPL software to replace gnuplot, and since R does all the calculating stuff that gnuplot does (probably R is faster though I haven't tested) plus R has quite decent plotting capabilities I

plotting multiple series in one plot
say we have: > x<-data.frame(a=c(1,2,3,4,5),b=c(1,1,1.5,2,2)) > y<-data.frame(a=c(1,2,3,4,5),b=c(1,2,2,3,3)) How would I plot this so that, with the shared $a as the x-axis values, I have both $b columns plotted together? (a comparison of the two?) thanks. DISCLAIMER: This e-mail message and any attachments are inte...{{dropped}}

[LLVMdev] GVN PRE algorithms in LLVM
Hello everyone I am Rakshit Singla, a third year undergrad at IIT Hyderabad, India. I finished a basic compilers course last semester and am currently doing a compiler optimizations course. I have been exploring LLVM for the past few months (wrote a front-end for the Classroom Object Oriented Language and have been studying pieces of code.) I would like to work with LLVM and contribute to the

Generating and naming multiple time series
Hi, I am trying to generate 100 different random walks each containing 500 variables. The script I am using to develop one time series: > x <- w <- rnorm(500) > for (t in 2:500) x[t] <- x[t - 1] + w[t] >From here I become stuck as I would like to generate a series and name it Set1 for the first set, then Set2 for the second....Set(n) I have tried rep() to generate the 100 time

text plots?
Is there a way to do text plots in R? I'd like to do some simple XY plots in R with the output in text (ascii). For example, with gnuplot I can do the following: echo 'set terminal dumb ; plot sin(x)' | gnuplot To generate a simple sin wave. Since I connect to a remote Linux machine using SSH, being able to generate a rough idea of what a plot will look like in text would be

I've to create a simple graph for the data set "n_species": species=sqlQuery(dati, "select count(distinct species), season from captures_complete_r group by species, season") n_species=tapply(species$count, species$season, sum) n_species=data.frame(n_species) n_species

Gnuplot fit function in R
Hi there, I'm new to R, coming from gnuplot for the plotting facility... I'm just wondering if there is a equivalent to the fit function of gnuplot in R? If not, s there any good resource on fitting gaussians into a curve? greetings, Stefan
