Hello, I have written a function that demonstrates the CLT by generating samples following the exponential distribution, calculating the means, plotting the histogram, and drawing the limiting normal curve as an overlay. I have the title of each histogram state the sample size and rate (1/theta) for the exponential (the output is actually 4 histograms), but I can't get the greek letter theta

ANOVA-like tests of geometrically-distributed data
I have a statistical problem which has given me no end of grief recently, and am posting here in the hope that somebody can give me a straight answer. I'm a IT postgrad, not a statistician, so people may have to speak really slowly and clearly for me to get it :) I am collecting simulation data, and the results are geometrically distributed (or approximately so). From what I can gather

Functions in lists or arrays?
I have a problem where I need to have a "driver" style R program that will extend itself, given more 'source("extra.R")' style lines. IE: easy to modify by other people. The problem becomes when I would like to create an array or list of functions. Each function, possibly hundreds of them, are really created by other programs, generating an *.R file. So for

Hi, Why is seekability necessary in case of multiplexed multiple logical streams? Isn't the differentiation based on serial number sufficient to continue decoding of pages in the sequence of their arrival?
