Dear all, is there an easy way to know at which position in the source code browser() (or stop()) was called? This seems to be important for me when I try to debug a program (e.g. using options(error=quote(dump.frames()))) traceback() returns some information, but I miss something like a line number, e.g. "stopped at line 999 in foo.R". I installed locfit with install.packages(...), the installation process went fine, but calling locfit() blocks the R environment. Has anybody got an idea howto get to the roots of this problem? What is the best way (if possible) to pass the name of a workspace file to R when it starts so it is loaded instead of .RData ? I would like to know this for Linux and windows version. Hi all, I've got this graphics question which really should be easy. I want to shade an area between bounds under a curve. A suitable beginning seems to be the following: > plot(dnorm,-4,4) > segments(-4,0,4,0) > segments(-2,0,-2,dnorm(-2)) > segments(2,0,2,dnorm(2)) It is the area between -2 and 2 which I want to shade (or something similar).
