OT: proliant fedora asterisk
HP doesn't support Fedora on Proliant hw so you can't just install their ILO and get access to hw info like cpu/mb/temperature,powersupply status, fan info aso. I used the link below to get that access, which enabled me to write a small script that sends snmp-traps to hp-ovo. I did spend quite some time myself until I found this link.

Utilize Java Libraries
Is it possible to utilize java libraries from a RoR application? I saw some stuff about Web Services (i.e. SOAP), so obviously that is one way. I also was looking at the JRuby project... I was just curious how serious the efforts are to integration java and ruby and how that relates to the rails framework. Thanks for your thoughts! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You

VMware multi-nic performance tech note
VMware''s published a paper on ESX vs. Xen (Enterprise) multi-nic performance: http://www.vmware.com/pdf/Multi-NIC_Performance.pdf Basically, it tests network performance from a Windows 2003 guest under Xen and VMware, and compares the results. Just curious if there''s any work in progress that would improve this? I''d also love to see the test repeated with a Linux

Multiple IP addresses and using same IP for outbound calls as inbound
Why not use OpenSips/Kamailoo in between? Where you want 1.1.1.1 you pass it along as is. Where you want 2.2.2.2 change the sdp in opensips/kamailio On Thu, Oct 29, 2020 at 20:44 David Cunningham <dcunningham at voisonics.com> wrote: > Hello, > > Does anyone know a way with chan_sip to tell Asterisk to use a specific IP > address for its end of the communication for a specific

Dovecot + SpamAssassin through dovecot-antispam
Hello, I am new to the list. /Waving at everyone/ I got a basic SpamAssassin working on a Debian setup (w/ debian-spamd user), running as a Postfix transport. I am currently trying to switch it to a dovecot plugin in order to make it interactively work with the email storage (react to mail classification, being able to train it from already received emails, aso.) My problem is now making it

How to deal with voice SMS - Asterisk 1.4
Hi list, I face a problem with voice SMSs. In some countries, if you send an SMS to a landline number, the mobile operator will record the message and then call this number. When picking up the phone you hear "You get an SMS from <phone number>, press 1 to listen the message, 2 to repeat the sender phone number". If you press 1 you hear the message and after it you have the

I don't know in that specific output what happened. Your best course of action is to add further logging or step through the logic with all of the knowledge you have of the RTP streams to understand what is happening.
