Boot package
Dear mailing list,
I tried to run the example for the conditional bootstap written in the help file
of censboot. I got the following result:

Call:
censboot(data = aml, statistic = aml.fun, R = 499, F.surv = aml.s1,
G.surv = aml.s2, strata = aml$group, sim = "cond")

Help Me to Adjust the R Code
Hi,
The following code, from Angelo Canty article on line "Resampling Methods in R: the boot Package, 2002", works fine for Angelo Canty using R 2.6.0 on Windows XP.
It also works for me using R 1.2.1 and S-PLUS 2000 on Windows XP after installing the S-PLUS bootstrap library, with slight differences in my outputs.

R Packages in Windows
I have installed R version 1 for windows and have installed
the survival5 package in the library folder, but the base package
only seems to partially acknowledge survival5's presence.
How have I screwed up? The diagnostics are as follows...
>library(survival5)
** no warning given.. seems OK **
>help(package=survival5)
**this gives the contents of the package correctly,

Censboot Warning and Error Messages
Good day R help list!!!
I've been trying to do Bootstrap in R on Censored data. I encountered
WARNING/ERROR messages which I could not find explanation.
I've been searching on the literature for two days now and still can't find
answers. I hope there's anyone out there who can help me
with these two questions:

methods for interval-censored data
Dear all,
Are there functions or packages in R that can handle interval-censored
data? I have looked in various packages (such as survival5 or event), but
it seems that only right-censored data can be analysed.
More generally, are there methods to analyse both interval-censored
observations and right-censored observations in the same data set?
Thanks in advance.

Fitting mean and covariance of Multivariate normal with censored data
Hello,
I have been googling for 2 days and I cannot find the answer in
previous posts.
I have a set of d-dimensional data elements (d=11 .. 14), each data
point can be censored at different values both
Lower-limit and upper limit.
N = 2000 sets of vectors of
D=11 data points per vector.
Each of the N*D points can have different upper and lower limits.
I "simply" want to fit a

what is the best way to estimate a tobit(truncated) regression model in

Is there already a packet available ?

showing ticks for censored data in survfit() in the rms package
The answer to this may be obvious, but I was wondering in the rms
package and the survfit(), how you can plot the censored time points
as ticks.
Take for example,
library(survival)
library(rms)
foo <- data.frame(Time=c(1,2,3,4,5,6,10), Status=c(1,1,0,0,1,1,1))
answer <- survfit(Surv(foo$Time, foo$Status==1) ~1)
# this shows the censored time points as ticks at Time = 3 and 4

log-log plots
Hi,
I am conducting a survival analysis and I have been trying, with not success, to do a log-log survival plots.
Does anyone know how to do it in R?
By the way I am using version 1.0.0 for windows.
Many Thanks

Empirical cumulative distribution with censored data
Dear list,
I would like to plot the empirical cumulative distribution of the time
needed by a treatment to attain a certain goal. A number of
experiments is run with a strict time limit. In some experiments the
goal is attained before the time limit, in other experiments time
expires before the goal is attained. The situation is very similar to
survivial analysis with censored data. I tryed

zero inflated poisson and censored-continuous models
I wonder if there is a package that will estimate a Zero Inflated Poisson
Model (ZIP), and also if there is a package that will estimate what is
called the Tobit model: that is a combination of censored and observed
values in the same sample.

putting the mark for censored time on 1-KM curve or competing risk curve
Hi All,
I'm trying to figure out the cumulative incidence curve in R in some
limited time. I found in package "cmprsk", the command "plot.cuminc" can
get this curve. But I noticed that there is no mark for the censored
time there, comparing with the KM curve by "plot.survfit". Here are my
codes (attached is the data):

plot.cuminc: how to put tick marks for censored observations
Hi,
I am trying to figure out how to put tick marks for censored observations
using plot.cuminc for my competing risk analysis (survfit does this
automatically). I've searched online for resources but found nothing. Does
anybody know how to do this? Thank you in advance for your input.

(Censboot, Z-score, Cox) How to use Z-score as the statistic within censboot?
Dear R Help list,
My question is regarding extracting the standard error or Z-score from a
cph or coxph call. My Cox model is: -
modz=cph(Surv(TSURV,STATUS)~RAGE+DAGE+REG_WTIME_M+CLD_ISCH+POLY_VS,
data=kidneyT,method="breslow", x=T, y=T)
I've used names(modz) but can't see anything that will let me extract
the Z scores for each coefficient or the standard errors in the same
