extlinux >= 5.01 menu.c32 timeout doesn't work
Hi,
I am using qemu for testing new versions of syslinux before installing on an embedded computer.
Everything works fine under qemu (1.5.0), so I updated extlinux from 4.06 to 5.11-pre3 on the computer.
I found that the autostart's timeout does not work.
The timeout value is correct but nothing happens.
It worked well with extlinux 4.06...
I tried with extlinux 5.01, 5.10, 5.11-pre3 and

Non linear regression using Levenberg-Marquardt method
Hello,
I want to fit some non linear models with the Levenberg-Marquardt
algorithm. It doesn''t seem to exist any function to do this in R ( well,
maybe one does, but I''m a new user, and the only documentation I have is
"An introduction to R").
I''d like to know if this function exists, maybe throught an additionnal
package.
I''d also like to know if if

No subject
dear friends,
I would like to know if somebody out there who is very interested in the development of a spreadsheet interface or menu-driven statistical software based on R. Also, I would like to know if the data.entry function is already available on Windows because I understand that it only works with Unix which is quite rare in our place. More power.

Good morning Samba mailing list.
I have found myself suddenly thrown at a Samba problem, and I have been
unable to find the answer I need in the documentation. I did find some
interesting tidbits on the Samba 2.X trouble shooting guide, but the issue still remains.
I'm running Samba 2.0.9 on Solaris 7 and Windows 2000 with Active
Directory on some sort of Dell hardware. For the most

Hi
Hello to everybody,
I just subscribed to this list. I find R a really nice
environment for statistical analysis.
I started to use it some days ago. I use it at home in my Linux
box, but I would like to use it in my institute in my Digital
Alpha (my machine runs OSF1 V4.0). I tried to compile the
distributed source code, without success due to some errors. And
the binary available is in RPM

Asterisk Cluster Scenario
Hello folks,
my company has experience in setting up single asterisk setup, but
recently one of our customers asked us to set up an asterisk cluster,
that must be High Availability and Load Balanced.
So I wrote here to have some hint or advice about the configuration we thought.
First of all I'll explain you the scenario:

how to run R as a daemon
Hi all,
Using R a as a real-time application called by Php for a website, I
would like to run one R process only, which would manage user
connections. For the time each user who asks for an analysis causes a
new R process to start, which is not suitable in prevision of many
users. R needs about 30 seconds to run the script which makes the
analysis. The problem is that this waiting time is n
