HEADSUP: apm(4) driver synced with current
In order to support the eventual MFC of a limited and experimental acpi(4)
driver from -CURRENT, I have merged a few changes from -CURRENT to -STABLE
including:
- Power management interface (subr_power.c)
- pmtimer(4) driver. Unlike -CURRENT this driver does not require
'device pmtimer' in the kernel config so that existing kernel configs
do not have to be changed.

[PATCH] x86/hvm: fix corrupt ACPI PM-Timer during live migration
The value of ACPI PM-Timer may be broken on save unless the timer mode
is delay_for_missed_ticks.
With other timer modes, vcpu->arch.hvm_vcpu.guest_time is always zero
and the adjustment from its value is wrong.
This patch fixes the saved value of ACPI PM-Timer:
- don''t adjust the PM-Timer if vcpu->arch.hvm_vcpu.guest_time is zero.
- consolidate calculations of PM-Timer to one

NGINX Puppet Module: Looking for Feedback/Use Cases
Hello everyone,
I''m currently working on a module for NGINX that I''d love to get some input on. Code can be found here: http://github.com/puppetlabs/puppetlabs-nginx.
This module is currently in development - it supports a few use cases:
* Create a vhost
* Create multiple location references for a vhost
* Create Proxy Upstream references to be used by Nginx

88.2 Khz files
Hi,
Does anyone know of a technical reason why FLAC cannot support 88.2 Khz files? I have a reason to uses this rate since it is easy to perform quality conversions from 24 bit 88.1 Khz master files (stored as flac files) to 16 bit 44.1 khz files for CD mastering purposes. I suppose I could Kludge the wav files so that they were half speed wav files at 44.1 khz and then hand the over to Flac, but

ALTQ and cpufreq(4)
Hello,
I've met some quite strange reboots recently on my home gateway. I'm
trying to reduce its power consumption, so I've loaded the cpufreq(4) driver,
and enabled powerd. After this the box started to reboot randomly all over the
place. I started to think what can cause the trouble, removing the cpufreq(4)
support would be too trivial, so I've removed the ALTQ references from

FW: openssh 4.0 - sftp batch mode behavior
Hello,
I just installed the openssh 4.0 for Solaris. The users have reported a
difference in behavior when using the batch mode of sftp client.
Previously they could issue the following command sftp -b batchfile
user at hostname and in the absence of publickey authentication they would
be issued the password prompt and they could enter password and the
process would continue.

Re: Denoising only
Hi,
I don't think this is the right list but since it is the only speex related list on the XIPH list, her it goes.
Flame away if you wish or, if your feeling generous, tell me what list to post on.
How do you "denoise" only without compressing the file? The documentation implies it is possible. It says on page 9 of manual.pdf,
"The denoiser can be used to reduce the amount

5.1-R-p2 crashes on SMP with AMI RAID and Intel 1000/Pro
Dear Sirs.
It seems to me a never ending story. We run a box with a TYAN Thunder
2500 Dual SMP mainboard, 2GB ECC Tyan certified memory, AMI Enterprise
1600 RAID adapter and additional Intel 1000/Pro server type (64 bit)
GBit LAN NIC. With FreeBSD 4.8 this was stable, but to achive this
state was really hard! It is a story similar to that what happend when
we changed towards FreeBSD

Guestfish errors (Running in VirtualBox)
Hi All,
I am trying to run guestfish inside an Ubuntu instance running in VirtualBox. I'm running into problems, and my first question, is this setup even possible?
I compiled and installed libguestfs-1.8.4.
Running libguestfs-test-tool fails with the following output.
Would appreciate any advice,
Chris

Centos 7 Kernel 3.10.0-693.11.6.el7.x86_64 does not boot PV
I thought I'd chime in and say that I'm seeing the same kernel-plus boot
failure that Shaun Reitan reported earlier. Is there likely to be another
build 3.10 kernel build coming down the pipeline that might fix this
issue? Here's the output of my failed PV domU boot:

DTMF tone crashes server (Asterisk 1.4.18 with Digium TE120P)
Hi,
I've been playing with a TE120P on Asterisk 1.4.18 with zaptel 1.4.9 and
I've ran into an issue. After a call placed any DTMF tone causes the server
to lock up entirely. Calls placed work just fine (except for a problem with
echo cancellation). The phone registered to the server is a Linksys SPA-942.
I am seeing in zttool some IRQ misses, but it never seems to go above 74
(below).

anything else that would be helpful in debugging this. Thank you,
