Xen 4.1.2 PVHVM guest with Linux 3.1.0 network problem, empty MAC address (all zeroes)
Hello, While testing Fedora 16 Xen PVHVM guests I noticed the following problem: When starting F16 PVHVM guest I can see the vifX.0 and tapX.0 interfaces appear on dom0, but after the guest kernel (Linux 3.1.0) starts and loads PVHVM drivers the vif/tap interfaces disappear from dom0.. so the bridge in dom0 doesn''t have any vifs/taps connected to it anymore. Has anyone seen that

Can I move the disk image of the guest while it is running?
Hello guys! We want to move some guests' disk images to different locations (within the same machine, locally), but we do not want to turn off the guests. Can we do that while the guest is running, like live migration? I did not find any related documentation or posts about it. Let's say the guest has a disk at /ssd/image.raw We want to move that to /hdd/image.raw Is there any way to

Cannot start xen domUs anymore, domUs hang on kernel startup, happens after a long dom0 uptime
Hello! I've noticed this problem two times now.. last time I fixed it by rebooting the (centos 5.1 x86 32b) xen host/dom0. Symptoms: - Already running domUs (debian 2.6.18-6-xen-686 32b PAE) continue running and working OK - Cannot start new domUs (debian 2.6.18-6-xen-686).. kernel bootup just hangs before running initrd. Same domU with the exact same xen domU cfgfile worked earlier.

serial="pty"
When adding the keyword serial="pty" to a xen cfg file, I am able to open /dev/ttyS0 in my dom-U linux kernel environment and send serial data to a /dev/pts/x port in my dom-0 linux environment. If I happen to have have multiple dom-U''s configured this way, what is the best way to determine how these ports will be mapped so I will know which /dev/pts port belongs to which

Using Effect.Move() while maintaining the elements DOM order
Hi there, is it possible to maintain the elements order in DOM when using Effect.Move()? Currently the Move effect will change the element position (using top and left style attrs), this works quite well too, but what I''d like is to change the elements position as well. Consider the following example: html: ... <div id="a">First</div> <div
