nano syntax highlighting for R
Nano is Free Software and a nice intro text editor. It also starts up
very quickly and has good syntax highlighting functionality, so it makes a
nice file viewer. The syntax highlighting is configured in the ~/.nanorc
file. See the attached code and screenshot.
I was looking for good nano syntax highlighting code for R when I found by
Stephen Haptonstahl's code here:

[LLVMdev] ScalarEvolution, HowManyLessThans question for step > 1
Hi,
I have a question about some code in ScalarEvolution.cpp, in the function
HowManyLessThans. Specifically, this function returns CouldNotCompute if
the iteration step is greater than one even when the NoWrap flags are set
(if the step goes past the limit and wraps). Here's the comment:
} else if (isKnownPositive(Step)) {
// Test whether a positive iteration can step

How do you deal with non-model property form values
I have a User ActiveRecord model that has email and password properties. I
want to build a login for that has a "remember me" option. My view looks

Rcompression and Java Deflator
(this may be a duplicate post since I attached a file to the previous try...sorry about that)
Below are the first few lines of a zlib compressed byte array written from Java with the Deflator class.

document proposal: TipsAndTricks/ApacheVHostDir
I use named virtual hosts on my web servers, as I'm sure many others do.
I'm used to the method of using a vhost directory for the container files.
I didn't find documentation for it in the CentOS docs or the Apache docs.
I'm not sure if I should take it as a hint that it is depreciated... If
I've missed something, please point me to it.

vignette index
Dear helpers,
I have multiple vignette files for a package, and I would like to have the "right" order of these files when displayed online. For instance, see below:
https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/bst/index.html
The order of vignette links on CRAN is different from what I hoped for:
> vignette(package="bst")

TipsAndTricks/ApacheVhostDir re-org
After much ruminating about Russ's suggestions, including his addition of
a second example vhost conf file, I've made some additional changes.
I've added a single level contents section to give readers an idea of
what's in the document, since it is getting a little large for a Tips
article.
I've integrated the 2 example sections.
I've placed the vhost.d/ section

doc: TipsAndTricks/ApacheVhost[Dir,Default]
Has there been sufficient discussion about these pages?
Am I able to rename them to move them from my directory to the
TipsAndTricks directory? Or should they go to HowTos?

"TipsAndTricks/ApacheVhostDir" changes for virtual host source files
I see someone has noticed my lack of suggestions or recommendations for
placement of virtual host source files...
Since there are many places to put virtual host source files, I had
intentionally avoided the discussion due to the complexities and to keep the
document restricted to a single topic. I had planned to create a separate
document devoted to the discussion. Specifically, there

That's really a compile time hack -- we defer some expensive tricks to
prove nsw/nuw on an add recurrences to when we've been asked to

R on the brain
I was sitting in the coffee room at work listening to people complain
about a recent seminar about nanotechnology using the terms
nanofluidics, nanofactory, nano-this, and nano-that ... I found myself
thinking "well the speaker should just
have said
with(nano,
...)
Un(?)fortunately there's no-one here I can share that thought with.

Late setting of SCEV NoWrap flags does bad with cache
Hi,
I think these two patches are related to the topic:
https://reviews.llvm.org/D41578 “[SCEV] Do not cache S -> V if S is not equivalent of V”
* It’s committed. It can cause generation of redundant instructions. We’ve got regressions due to it. The biggest one is 7.31% regression in Spec2k6 401.bzip2 on Cortex-A57(AArch64).
