Hello, I would like to contribute to the Wiki. A few things right off - I'd like to add to the "Yum and RPM Tricks" section and would also like to add information and tips on setting up CentOS machines for FPGA (Quartus/ISE/Modelsim) development. Also, I use CentOS on a day to day basis for development, and would be happy to document any useful tips I come across in the future.

Hello - I've searched the CentOS 6.3 wiki docs (Help, Tips and Tricks, HowTo, FAQ, and website search) on how to install the dvd2.iso image on an x86-64 machine and can't find any info and the documentation is not yet posted for CentOS 6.x. When the dvd1.iso for 6.3 x86_64 installs, it does not prompt to install dvd2.iso. Please provide a URL which describes how to install the

Greetings, I would like to revise this bonding tips and tricks, at least put more correct information into the header. guidelines for version specific info on wiki pages
hi Guys, Just wondering if we should have some guidelines as to how version specific information should be handled on the wiki ? One way might be to have a version tag on each page on the top right and indicate what Versions that page is going to work with. Then in the body have a Grey bar to indicate version specific info. But this might get a bit messy. Any other ideas ? - KB --

Closing loop: How-to for NVIDIA driver on Xen Dom0
I had a couple comments on my proposal to write a how-to on NVIDIA on Xen Dom0: Marcus: I would rather prefer if you could take care of the current Xen articles on the wiki, first. They are quite outdated. --- I don't consider myself an expert on all things Xen. In reviewing the material on the CentOS Wiki regarding Xen, I felt the articles were pretty well done (even if they were

Page Request
I'd like to add a page for the Realtek RTL8111b NIC. I'm not sure how you'd like to organize it since the page really could be relevant to both CentOS 4 and CentOS 5. I think a single page like: http://wiki.centos.org/HardwareList/RealTekRTL8111b Would work with links to both CentOS 4 *and* CentOS 5? However, if the wiki admins want two pages, that'll be fine too. Can you also

How to trigger automount of USB drives in Centos6
In brief: Is there is anyway to trigger the same automount mechanism, that X appears to use, on unmounted USB drives that are already connected? Background: I've got a C6 server with default desktop GUI installed for the sake of the onsite admin. There is a bash script I wrote that runs every night checking for specific folders on any drive and dumps data into it. To ensure fs integrity, I
