Two things...
1. Would one of the Wiki admins help unwind my Wiki credentials? I originally registered as "crisrhea" (lower case), but was told I should have used "CrisRhea" (camel case). I logged in and changed my preferences to use CrisRhea, but I can't access/edit my pages (/CrisRhea, /HowTos/Xen/NvidiaWithXen). Can one of the admins please fix my rights on these two

Wiki housekeeping...
1. If one of the Wiki admins would like to change my Wiki name to CrisRhea, rather than crisrhea, that would be fine with me (I currently only have the /HowTos/Xen/NvidiaWithXen page). 2. I'd like to create a home page for myself, but don't have permission. If you guys still recommend using the home page for contact info/comments on pages, may I please have one? Thanks -- Cris Rhea

Closing loop: How-to for NVIDIA driver on Xen Dom0
I had a couple comments on my proposal to write a how-to on NVIDIA on Xen Dom0: Marcus: I would rather prefer if you could take care of the current Xen articles on the wiki, first. They are quite outdated. --- I don't consider myself an expert on all things Xen. In reviewing the material on the CentOS Wiki regarding Xen, I felt the articles were pretty well done (even if they were

Opening of the wiki Part III(?) ...
... which will hopefully be the last part. Sorry that it took that long, but I didn't have too much time on my hands over the last two months or so. This is what should be the last stages of opening up the wiki: a) I have changed the account creation page: <http://wiki-m.centos.org/UserPreferences>. Please view that page while logged out of wiki-m. b) While doing so I have

Cross compiling
I really have no idea of what's needed for cross-compiling. If you find out what needs to be added, please send me a patch. Cross compiling
Hello all, I'm trying to build speex library for a CRIS processor running Linux. The configure seems to fail. Here is the command I use wich works to build libogg : ./configure --host=cris --prefix=/home/axis/devboard_lx/target/cris-axis-linux-gnu/usr/local --exec-prefix=/home/axis/devboard_lx/target/cris-axis-linux-gnu/usr/local (I have all my target files in this directory :

CRIS port of klibc
klibc now runs on the CRIS archtitecture. The patch below is against 0.146. Most of the changes are trivial but the new files in libgcc requires some comments. __negdi2.c: The CRIS port fallbacks to C-code for negdi2. The code in __negdi2.c is copied from libgcc2.c but with modified typenames. I would really appreciate if someone could check if it seams sane. crisarith.c: CRIS has no built-in

Documented format of smbusers file??
The samba.org documentation page does not provide a man page for the possible formats for the smbusers file. I am fighting with samba->Active Directory and mapping AD users to Unix logins. The AD guy says credentials can be either: <Domain NetbiosName>/<lanid> or <lanid>@<Domain FQDN> BUT, I seem to be having luck (with some help from the log files) using:

Wiki EditGroup request.
Hi all, I'd like to get added to the EditGroup for wiki.centos.org and perhaps projects.centos.org. I'm interested in adding content periodically throughout wiki.centos; most likely in the HOWTO areas, but am happy to do reorganization and cleanup as-needed. On the projects side I'd like to create a project for the i586 on CentOS 5 section. Thanks, Ray -- Ray Van Dolson <rayvd

unbreak vfork on cris architecture

How-to for NVIDIA driver on Xen Dom0
I'd like to author a Wiki how-to article for running the NVIDIA drivers on a Xen Dom0 machine. This is useful if you wish to run Xen-based VMs on your desktop system, but also take full advantage of the graphics card. Lots of outdated, overly complicated, or incomplete info regarding this topic on the web today. -- Cris Rhea

[PATCH] fix non-RT sigsuspend()
While the userspace function signature is int sigsuspend(const sigset_t *maskptr) there are several variants of how this is mapped into kernel functions: one for rt_sigsuspend and several, mutually incompatible, legacy ones, split by architectures. Before this commit, klibc did not care about that and passed maskptr as first and only argument to the syscall, leading to junk in other argument

Problem with CLVM (really openais)
I'm desparately looking for more ideas on how to debug what's going on with our CLVM cluster. Background: 4 node "cluster"-- machines are Dell blades with Dell M6220/M6348 switches. Sole purpose of Cluster Suite tools is to use CLVM against an iSCSI storage array. Machines are running CentOS 5.8 with the Xen kernels. These blades host various VMs for a project. The iSCSI

Opening of the Wiki - Part I
Good News, everybody! Maybe not yet, though :) There are two things I'd like to get at with this mail. a) This also has something to do with Ned's mails from yesterday - we have two FAQs at the moment (on www.centos.org and on wiki.centos.org) and we want to unify those, if possible on the wiki. The one feature the www version has and the wiki one doesn't is comments - and we really
