Contribute to wiki
Good afternoon,
My username is GrahamWilliamson
I would like to have access to the CentOS wiki. I want to create and
add some initial content to the VoIP SIG.
http://wiki.centos.org/SpecialInterestGroup has a link to
http://wiki.centos.org/SpecialInterestGroup/Voip however I feel the VoIP
SIG page should actually be
http://wiki.centos.org/SpecialInterestGroup/VoIP.
Also, I'd like to update

Small correction in CentOSPlus (AdditionalResources/Repositories/CentOSPlus)
Hi,
Small correction there.
Example 4 of section 2 (how to use XFS with CentOSPlus kernel) says
you should use this configuration line in [centosplus] section of yum:
includepkgs=kernel* xfs* dmapi*
However, the XFS module's package name is kmod-xfs*, so I believe it
should actually be:
includepkgs=kernel* kmod-xfs* xfs* dmapi*
I did this on a system of mine, and in the first case it did

Managing updates to non-centos packages
Hi,
I'm looking for some documentation (or advice) on how to best manage
a -mostly- upstream binary compatible CentOS installation.
I enabled the rpmforge repository in order to install a few packages
not available in base/updates/centosplus. But, now when I do a "yum
check-update" yum wants to update a whole stack of packages because
it's found newer versions at

proper usage of global variables / node variables / +=
Hello puppet masters, I am cleaning up some puppet modules, using
puppet-lint. The warning I am getting is:
top-scope variable being used without an explicit namespace
I can turn this particular check off, but in doing my research I''m
finding all sorts of messages saying to avoid using +=, to avoid using
variables in the node scope, and to switch to a parameterized class

Centos Test repository
I would like to express my appreciation to the maintainers of the CentOS
distribution for the degree of thoroughness evidenced in the set up of the
test repository at http://dev.centos.org. I was casting around for how to
configure my yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo to handle a few packages that I must
obtain from the test area (firefox, which seems to have moved since yesterday,
and postgresql). I
