OpenGL drivers haven't been installed correctly
The BOINC project has a screensaver that runs on Windows. I installed BOINC in a virtual machine running Windows XP (32 bit) and copied boinc.scr from the C:\Windows directory onto my 64 bit F13 system. When I run the screensaver I get an error. Any feedback is appreciated. I can run glxgears without any problem.
$ wine boinc.scr
Wine cannot find the ncurses library (libncurses.so.5).

Fixed updates for EL5 / EL6
I know, I know, you've heard this song before... ;)
EL5: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2016-09c8007e64
EL6: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2016-0a9e4df655
Please go download -8 and test it. It looks good on my end. If it works
for you (with CRAN modules), please give positive karma so it will land
in updates-stable faster than two weeks.
Thanks

Install oVirt in fc11/fc12
Hi.
Show you how to install oVirt in FC11/FC12? I acted on instructions
http://ovirt.et.redhat.com/install-instructions.html, but there were
problems with the versions of the module locale (requires 2.0.4 and
installed 2.0.5).
WBR,
Fyodor.

preupgrade
Hello!
Just thought I'd present this problem for comment/help/hints:
* want to upgrade from Fedora Core 11 to 13
* I have a 64-bit system with Vista as a host o/s, running VMWare, and
FC11 as a client o/s
* cloned my FC11 as a backup
* ran preupgrade, got expected problem with 200MB /boot, but preupgrade
said that it could continue downloading (presumably to the larger
partition) so I did

R 4.0.0 rebuild status
R-BiocFileCache is now branched for f32 (finally). You should be able to
build it if/when the PDC comes back up. Lotta random outages right now.

problems compiling packages | 3.3.0 | Linux
Hi Tom,
I'm seeing another similar build failure with the recent 3.3.0-5 and I'm a
bit stumped about what's going on.
On a fresh VM, after installing 3.3.0-5 and then running:
install.packages(c("lpSolveAPI), method="curl", repos="
https://cran.rstudio.com")
the build fails with:
gcc: /builddir/build/BUILD/R-3.3.0/zlib-1.2.8/target/usr/lib64/libz.a: No

Orphaning rubygem-mongrel and related packages
I haven't used Mongrel for any of my projects in some time now, so I'm
no longer an active user and have been unable to find the time to keep
up with them. I'm orphaning the following packages, so they're up for
grabs for anyone actually using them:
rubygem-mongrel
rubygem-gem_plugin
rubygem-fastthread
Looks like the following packages rely on mongrel:

Hot-add interface crashes libvirt
Hi Everyone,
After upgrading FC12 and now FC13 whenever I try to attach a network device using attach-device it promptly crashes libvirtd. Is there an option that changed in the network interface xml spec I missed?
I really need this feature or at least the ability to connect and disconnect interfaces if that's possible?
I've tried defining my network card in several ways:
