I tried R2spec to create the spec files necessary to have Rcpparmadillo. I noticed that it has some issues, one example is that it placed some files irrespectively if they were present in the tar or not. Apologies if this is not the best list on which to ask for help. I have compiled R 2.6.0 using Sun Studio 12 compilers. I can install most CRAN and bioconductor packages that I need, with the exception of RSQLite. Unfortunately this is critical for other packages that I need. I have tried to compile it using R CMD INSTALL to generate a config.log file. I don't know how to fix the reported
