oVirt on CentOS 5.3?
Hi,
Has anyone been succesful in installing oVirt on CentOS 5.3? While it looks
like a greate virtualization package, they only support FC10, and the
installation instructions are for FC9.
So, has anyone installed it on CentOS yet? If so, would you mind sharing
with me whether it was a problematic installation, or not really?

Thusnelda - Floating point exception in encoder_toplevel.c:209
Hi all,
I've been hitting the odd floating point exception errors using the
new alpha encoders. They're encoding a live stream so I can't reproduce
the crash on demand, and it might only happen once every few days so
it's been fun trying to get a backtrace. The crash happens in a fairly
scary block of code, I wouldn't have a clue where to begin trying to fix it!

Re: Fw: Install problems on fresh F10
I did post to ovirt-devel but I am not a registered user, so a moderator need to review my posting before it becomes available.
I will register, but right now I only have a few seconds to spare.
I try to add use "Add Virtual Machine" but the "Storage" is empty. My iSCSI and NFS storage says "State: pending_setup". What am I doing wrong?
Sincerely,

Calling R functions from Python
All-
Thanks in advance for your help.
I'm trying to call R function using Python in a windows environment and have
downloaded the Rpy library however it doesn't appear to work with R 2.7.2.
Does anyone know if a new version of Rpy exists for windows that will work
with R and where it can be downloaded from?
Here's an example of the error I'm getting:

I''d be very grateful for any help. Many thanks in advance!

following Centos wiki headless install, but applying to FC10
I have successfully built an install CD following the instructions at:
http://wiki.centos.org/TipsAndTricks/VncHeadlessInstall
Now I am trying to do the same with FC10 and I am failing in two ways.
I have tried to find a similar howto for even FC9, but have not found
the right google magic.
The first problem should be small. When I set isolinux.cfg to start with:

Wine and opengl error!!!
Hi all,
I'm having trouble running windows games from Fedora 9, 64 bit, using wine
rc3. I've tried Command & Conquer 3, Age Of Mythology and Jazz Jackrabbit 2.
All games fail. I mostly get an error saying that direct3d9 won't work
without opengl. However, I have opengl.
I've run glxgears and it runs fine. Following is the output:

Fedora core 10 x64, installed from disk, fully updated
Wine 1.1.14, installed through yum
New video card: Nvidia geforce 9800gt, 1gig memory

building rpy against lenny-cran
Hi.
On all of my machines, except for a netbook cursed with the GMA500
chipset, the R packages are synced to lenny-cran.
I have been using rpy in a chroot using the official lenny
R packages (2.7.1) given that i have not been able to find
compatible rpy deb packages to work with lenny-cran.
I am able to build the rpy deb package from source in
a 32-bit lenny chroot (with the stock R packages)

problem with kerberos (I think)
Hi all,
I've got some problems to make work oVirt.
I've installed a Fedora 10 VM the lightest possible (nothing checked, even based) and installed after some packages (wget, sudo, acpid,...) and updated the system.
By the way, acpid should be a dependency of ovirt-installer because the installation fails if it's not available.
I've then installed ovirt (ovirt-server-installer

new kernel on Fedora 10 domU
Hi,
I installed Fedora 10 as domU on CentOS 5.3. I need new 2.6.25.14 kernel
under domU (in order to patch it for MPLS protocol). I followed advice on
http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/Kernel.org_Linux_on_Xen, and compiled
kernel with XEN options enabled under domU. I got all relevant packages in
/boot and /lib/modules, but when I try to boot virtual machine I got this

Rpy not working after upgrade to R2.9.1
Hi,
I'm running Ubuntu Jaunty, downloading R and Rpy from this repository:
deb http://cran.uk.r-project.org/bin/linux/ubuntu jaunty/
When was automatically upgraded, Rpy (which should be downloaded from
the same repository) seems to have stopped working. I've tried
re-installing the python-rpy package manually. I get the following
error when I try to import rpy:

permission and library dep issues after fedora upgrade
Hi Folks,
I recently upgraded my fedora server from fc8 to fc10 and have trouble
getting my samba server working again.
I have 2 problems that are probably coherent to each other.
First Problem:
When I try to connect to my samba shares I get this error:
'/share/path' does not exist or permission denied when connecting to
[share name] Error was Keine Berechtigung
