vif problems in snv_127
Hi !
In snv_127 I suddenly face a problem I never had before. Xvm can''t
attach a vif to my primary

$ pfexec xm start ulrac1
Error: Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. error: Failed to create
vnic over yukonx1 with MAC address 00:16:36:3c:bf:70
This worked fine in all previous snv_12x releases I tested, including

Vector CAD/CAM
Hello everybody!
For my hobby, I have a tabletop mill driven by a linux box (Ubuntu+EMC2). I
bought a CAD/CAM package (Vector http://www.vectorcadcam.com ) that works
very well; but which runs on windows.
Recently, I installed Wine on Ubuntu and tried Vector by copying the whole
install directory. To my great surprise :-), it worked OK, except when
starting the code generation window, which

btrfs device scan
I have a couple computers running 2.6.38
(Ubuntu Natty 2.6.38-8-generic), and on both of them
"btrfs device scan" comes back with nothing other than
"failed to read /dev/sr0"
One computer has a btrfs RAID-1 volume, and the other has two separate
btrfs filesystems. The results are the same whether the filesystems are
mounted or not.
Why is "btrfs device scan" not

[Fwd: [Fwd: Shared Storage in xVM Opensolaris build 122]]
Hi,
the diskmon issue in RAC 11.2 was a firewall issue. The clusterware is
running OK now
and also the new ACFS (ASM Cluster filesystem) seems to work properly
using a
shared ZFS volume.
Cheers, Marc

[Bug 122] sshd does not update wtmpx at end of session
http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=122
------- Additional Comments From tim at multitalents.net 2002-02-25 05:32 -------
I spent some time looking into this. Initially I did see that last was reporting
users still logged in that had logged out of their ssh connection. I noticed
logintest showed everything working as expected. Now I can not duplicate the
problem. I didn't change
