1 TByte (99,5%) data missing on rsync backup???
Hi, I have a weird problem with RSync: On a NAS are about 1,2 TB data. When I plug in a harddisk and make a backup with RSync, "df -h" shows the backup disk filling up to nearly 1,2 TB. But after RSync has finished, there are only 3.7 GB on the backup disk. System: Linux nas 2.6.37-gentoo-r4 #1 SMP Tue May 3 19:54:31 CEST 2011 x86_64 Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU 330 @ 1.60GHz GenuineIntel

Tripplite SNMPwebcard communication lost and established randomly
Thanks. As mentioned, deadtime can't be set for snmp-ups. You see this in the logs. Mar 31 09:08:30 freenas notifier: Fatal error: 'DEADTIME' is not a valid variable name for this driver. Mar 31 09:08:30 freenas notifier: Look in the man page or call this driver with -h for a list of valid variable names and flags. While looking at /var/log/messages I also see this when starting

Controller and Model Responsibilities
Hi everyone, I am wondering what code has to go into the controller and what into the model. Generally I would think that all operations that keep the model in a proper state should be done within the model, and the controller should only provide the actions necessary to carry out the application''s use cases. Am I right so far? My situation is the following. Whenever an admin performs

Repeated measures logistic regression
Dear all, I'm struggling to find the best (set of?) function(s) to do repeated measures logistic regression on some data from a psychology experiment. An artificial version of the data I've got is as follows. Firstly, each participant filled in a questionnaire, the result of which is a score. > questionnaire ID Score 1 1 6 2 2 5 3 3 6 4 4 2 ...

help with using last observation carried forward analysis for a clinical trial please
Hi, I have a series of id's with multiple visits and questionnaire scores. This is a clinical trial that will be analyzed using the last observation carried forward method. In other words, in order to comply with intent to treat analysis when many subjects withdraw, data points for the last visit must be generated and filled in with the last observation. Tripplite SNMPwebcard communication lost and established randomly
Just started using NUT and having a problem. I'm not sure if it is even NUT that is causing the issue. I'm running the latest FreeNAS 9.3 release. Network UPS Tools upsmon 2.7.2. The UPS is a Tripplite SU6000RT4UHVPM with the SNMPwebcard installed. I'm trying to use the SNMPwebcard, not USB or Serial. I've updated the SNMPwebcard to the latest firmware version (see below). In

rsync performance weirdness
hi, i observe some weirdness in rsync file transfer i cannot explain. i'm transferring data from 2 freenas storages to a linux vm with zfsonlinux. "fnask" is older freenas with rsync 3.1.1 running in daemon mode, freenas-bnkw is more recent with rsync 3.1.2, also daemon-mode. on the linux vm where the data is being pulled from the 2 freenas boxes, i look onto io bandwidth being

user cannot logon to domain although log says "auth succeeded"
I have a very strange problem and I'm doomed. In a samba-domain with XP-clients certain users cannot logon to some computers. The user tries to logon but *immediately* gets the message "you cant get logged on. please check username and domain and retype your password" (translated from german) on the XP-machine. In the samba-logs (Loglevel=2) it says: [2009/05/19 16:47:16, 2]

FreeNAS
As you all know, I''m a confirmed Linux supporter. But I must mention a project that I''ve recently become acquainted with: FreeNAS (http://freenas.org). This is a really cool product: - It is FreeBSD based. The current stable version is built on FreeBSD 7.3. - FreeNAS allows you to quickly build an NAS solution that supports SMB/CIFS, AFP (Seamlessly supports Timemachine on OS X
