Xen page sharing
Hi sahil:
I think the reason why you cannot get page shared is due to the gref you got.
Gref is responsible for a page allocated from domU, in my understanding it should not be
0, that is a gref 0 can not be shared, that''s why I skip gref 0 to be nominated.
The gref is nominated to Xen and later used to find a corrspond MFN, so it shall not always be the same.

RE: [GIT/PATCH 0/5] Re: unfair servicing of DomU vbd requests
Hi James.
I go through the patch, since all its changes happens inside __xen_evtchn_do_upcall(),
so I apply the patch into my 2.6.31.kernel by manual. (I was failed to merge a usable,
2.6.38dom0, since quite a lot branch needed, such as blkback, netback)
But still, the blue screen shows up. Log attached.
Is the timeout better than before?
Beside, I think I need find some to examine my

[PATCH] arm: xen: foreign mapping PTEs are special.
These mappings are in fact special and require special handling in privcmd,
which already exists. Failure to mark the PTE as special on arm64 causes all sorts of bad PTE fun.
x86 already gets this correct.

On getting notify-send to work
The program ``wall?? used by NUT to put notifications in front of the
users is now well past it's best-before date. It has not been
internationalized, does not support accented letters or non-latin
characters, and is ignored by popular desktop environments such as Gnome
and KDE. It's apparent replacement, notify-send, gives the impression
that it has never been tested in any other

gSOAP and ActionWebService interop problems
Hi!
I''ve successfully created a Rails web service. I can connect to it with
an XML-RPC client, without any problems at all. However, when I try to
use a gSOAP application to connect to the web service, it doesn''t work.
The back trace that I get is at the end of this message. From the back
trace, it appears that the SOAP request is not being recognized as a
SOAP request, and

hermite and Bezier splines
Does anyone know how to do hermite or
Bezier splines in R? I can find Matlab routines, but really need to
implement them in R. Failing that I'd be interested in other
conformal splines. I need to smooth and interpolate animal tracking data.

Kernel bug in software RAID?
After doing lots of research, it seems that there is a known bug in the
software RAID for various versions of the 2.6 kernel. It seems to be
affecting a system that a friend of mine has put together, so I'm guessing
that RH has not back ported a fix into the released kernel. Does anyone
here have any idea when a fix will make it into the CentOS4 distribution?
