xl create don''t register IP in xenstore. vif-common.sh antispoof scripts fails [SOLVED]
When start a domU through xl create. The domU associated ip in the

[LINUX] netfront: Cleanup and fix TSO/GSO/CHECKSUM conditionals
Hi Keir:
[LINUX] netfront: Cleanup and fix TSO/GSO/CHECKSUM conditionals
This patch tries to minimise the amount of code that is conditionally
compiled. This is desirable (and the Linux way) as it helps to prevent
people breaking code unwittingly since conditionals may hide compile
problems.
It also adds a missing conditional around the TSO ethtool operations.
This also helps the building of

[PATCH net-next v3 5/5] xen-netback: enable IPv6 TCP GSO to the guest
This patch adds code to handle SKB_GSO_TCPV6 skbs and construct appropriate
extra or prefix segments to pass the large packet to the frontend. New
xenstore flags, feature-gso-tcpv6 and feature-gso-tcpv6-prefix, are sampled
to determine if the frontend is capable of handling such packets.

[PATCH RESEND] net: convert xen-netfront to hw_features
Not tested in any way. The original code for offload setting seems broken
as it resets the features on every netback reconnect.
This will set GSO_ROBUST at device creation time (earlier than connect time).
RX checksum offload is forced on - so advertise as it is.

Bug#744927: No VIF information in xentop with xl
Package: xen-utils-4.3
Version: 4.3.0-3+b1
Using the xl toolstack there's no information about the networks of the
domUs in xentop. I have a PV and a HVM domU and both are shown as having 0
network interfaces, while in fact they have functioning interfaces.
Here's one of the interfaces that should be shown, from xenstore:

The only solution for these is to use our own stack (likely full
TCP/IP like lwIP) and connect to the Net GUID (EFI_SIMPLE_NETWORK_PROTOCOL).?
Does the handle for Pxebc contain a Net??

When imapc can't connect to remote IMAP prevents user login (and blocks LDA)
Hi!
I'm using dovecot 2.1.12-r1.
When remote imap server rejects connections then I can't login into
account and MTA can't deliver emails to maildir also.
I'm attaching snippets of logs:

Not as much as you
may think.? We already have lwIP implemented into lpxelinux.0.? It's more a matter of using more glue.

[PATCH 1/4] xen/netback: shutdown the ring if it contains garbage.
A buggy or malicious frontend should not be able to confuse netback.
If we spot anything which is not as it should be then shutdown the
device and don''t try to continue with the ring in a potentially
hostile state. Well behaved and non-hostile frontends will not be
penalised.
As well as making the existing checks for such errors fatal also add a
new check that ensures that there

[PATCH][xenstore] adds a -w (wide) flag to xenstore-ls to support seeing full contents of xenstore entries
This patch (fundamentally) adds support to display the full contents of
the xenstore directory entries. During some recent testing, the values
of interest were always beyond the ..., so I added -w to override
truncation. There is a bit of code cleanup as well (snprintf vs.
sprintf), one formatting fix, and comments).
There is no change to the behavior of xenstore-ls without -w.

Bug#693217: Removal of xenstore tdb file before xenstored daemon
Package: xen-utils-common
Version: 4.0.0-1
Consider removal of xenstored tdb file (located at
/var/lib/xenstored/tdb) before start of xenstored daemon during the boot
(or removal during the shutdown/reboot of the server) as proposed by Ian
Campbell during our discussions [1].
