[PATCH] vhost/net: length miscalculation
commit 8b38694a2dc8b18374310df50174f1e4376d6824 vhost/net: virtio 1.0 byte swap had this chunk: - heads[headcount - 1].len += datalen; + heads[headcount - 1].len = cpu_to_vhost32(vq, len - datalen); This adds datalen with the wrong sign, causing guest panics. [LLVMdev] VS2005 compatibility
Hi Francois, I have all licensed versions of VS at my disposal (the benefits of being a former MS employee) but I'm currently using VS2005 due to specific technical reasons that I can't disclose. The "Getting Started" page states support of 2005 SP1 which, if it's not being maintained, is not true and should be updated. Cheers, - Don ----- Original Message ----- From:

[PATCH] Make save/restore of multiple VCPU contexts arch dependent
We need to look at how to support this on ia64, so how about making this an architecture dependent feature for now? Not sure what powerpc needs here, so I''m just lumping it into the old way bucket. [PATCH] [BUGFIX] Disallow save / migrate of a domain with real PCI devices
If a domain has PCI devices then we can''t safely save or migrate it. At least one user has had system crashes due to this, and the way the xendomains script automatically saves and restores domains on reboot. Since there''s no sensible semantics for it at the moment, we should disallow it and return an appropriate error message to xm. The first attached patch prevents the
