[VT-D]iommu.c:775: iommu_page_fault: iommu->reg = ffff828bfff57000
Hello,
I have been working sometime now on getting a HVM accepting a PCI card from
the host. As was said in the VT-D wiki I bought an ASUS P5E VM DO
motherboard (rel 0803) which has the VT-D option in the bios. I want to pass
a Hauppauge PVR 500 card to a virtual machine running LinuxMCE. After first
trying XEN 3.2.1 which did not enable the "VT-D virtualisation" bit in xm

xen-unstable hvm problem
Hi
I am trying to install Windows using HVM but I get an error
message that is totally useless and I am unable to figure out
what the problem is.
I just pulled xen-unstable.hg because nothing else supports my
CPU yet. So here is what I get when I simply try to create the domain:

Problems with power management
I do not seem to be able to get any where with the power management
functions. I have had a look at the xenpm Wiki page, but it hasn''t
helped. Its probably something completely obvious, but I can''t see it.

Intel S5000PSL motherboard with 2 x Xeon 5410s. Dom0 is running the

Booting Xen 4.1.3 Dom0 hangs with PANIC on CPU 6: Xen BUG at io_apic.c:129
Hi all,
I have searched the net and haven''t found a good answer so I hope perhaps someone here can help.
I have an IBM x3850 (8863) that I am upgrading from SLES11SP1 to SLES11SP2, and at the same time XEN is being upgraded as part of the distro. The server is used as a Xen host for up to 6 guests.
Anyway, the server boots fine with the SLES11SP2 default kernel, and the trace

Hi all,
I''ve successfully installed xen3.3.0 on Linux ubuntu 2.6.27.5 #1 SMP i686 GNU/Linux. I
built xen with the requisite XSM_ENABLE=y, ACM_SECURITY=y and believe I have the correct
config parameters in the 2.6.27.5 kernel.
Boot goes smoothly, set to automatically create 2 domUs. All appears okay with XSM/ACM...

GRUB-PC does not automatically populate Xen related parameters in
/boot/grub/grub.cfg so I added them manually (see below). All the
packages involved on my Dell PowerEdge R710 running Debian GNU/Linux

WG: Dom0 kernel crashes when dom0_mem= is used!
I tried for a couple of times to add an information that might help you with regard to Bug #603713 by sending mailto "603713 at bugs.debian.org" But it never appeared there - so I try to let you know how to work around that bug this way. If you decide not to take this mail into account I won't bother you any more

Xen with dom0 pvops on ultra-recent "git tip" kernel on x86_64
Hi everyone,
I am very excited to see that dom0 pvops is finally coming close to
working, so I wanted to give it a try.

base for the patches.hg, so I took the latest (that was ~ 2 weeks ago)

I managed to more or less apply all of the patches in the

Bug#603713: xen-hypervisor-4.0-amd64: amd64 Dom0-Kernel crashes in early boot-stage
Package: xen-hypervisor-4.0-amd64
Version: 4.0.1-1
Severity: important
The amd64 Dom0 crashes in early boot-stage. For debugging purpose I logged Kernel-Dump
with minicom over Serial Console:
System is:
Dell Poweredge R710
2x Intel XEON X5650
96GB RAM
Perc H200 SAS Controller
3x SAS-Drive
I see a possible conjunction with Bug #600241 but acpi=off doesn't solve this
problem.

Not sure if this is a Fedora Core 6 issue. I already post a message on

Does anyone has Windows Guest OS running successfully with the Dom0 has all

If I don''t lower the memory assign to Dom0 through grub, I will not be able

[PATCH] ept: Fix bug in changeset 22526:7a5ee3800417
This fixes a bug in changeset 22526:7a5ee3800417, where the wrong
value is read when deciding whether to flush the VTd tables. The
effect is minor: in situations where the p2m entry is changed but the
mfn is the same, the VTd tables will be unnecessarily flushed.
old_entry is left untouched in the second case, since having a present
old_entry will cause the an unnecessary check to be taken at
