Re: [PATCH] kexec/kdump: statically allocate xen_phys_cpus
You posted to xen-ia64-devel & xen-ia64 (deleted the wrong word?)
rather than xen-devel so I added that to the CC.

Re: Xen-devel Digest, Vol 52, Issue 178
Hi, all
I want to reduce the checkpoint size of a VM by memory exclusion. I try to find out all the free pages by reference count at VMM-level, As they declared that:
/* Page is on a free list: ((count_info & PGC_count_mask) == 0). */ , in struct page_info which is defined in /xen/include/asm-x86/mm.h, but unfortunately, all the pages in a idle VM accords with this condition.

[patch]: qemu-xen: pass-through: pt_reset_interrupt_and_io_mapping(): use hw INTX
This fixes a few things that I missed in previous patches:
* Use the hw INTX rather than INTA in pt_reset_interrupt_and_io_mapping()
This is consistent with other uses of pci_intx()
* Remove now inaccurate "/* fix virtual interrupt pin to INTA# */" comments
* Use PCI_SLOT()

[Bridge] [PATCH v2] net: add ETH_P_802_3_MIN
Add a new constant ETH_P_802_3_MIN, the minimum ethernet type for
an 802.3 frame. Frames with a lower value in the ethernet type field
are Ethernet II.
Also update all the users of this value that David Miller and
I could find to use the new constant.
Also correct a bug in util.c. The comparison with ETH_P_802_3_MIN
should be >= not >.
As suggested by Jesse Gross.
Compile tested only.

Re: Xen 3.4.1 Configuration Issues with Ubuntu 9.04!
Yes.
First remove old :-
# rm -fr xen-3.4-testing.hg
# hg clone http://xenbits.xensource.com/xen-3.4-testing.hg
It takes 20-30 min at 100Kb/sec ADSL connection.
# cd xen-3.4-testing.hg
# make world.
You always run "make world" UNDER xen-3.4-tesing.hg folder, NOT under /usr/src.
Do it step by step.
Boris.

MMCFG Problem
Hi Allen, Hi All,
I''m looking into SR-IOV on Xen and in particular getting
the VFs of the Intel 82756 initialised in dom0.
One problem that I am coming up against is that
the SRIOV extended PCIe capability does not show up
for the PF (physical PCI function). Actually,
the extended PCIe capability space doesn''t show up
at all for any device.
This seems to be related to a

Reading my blog, you are missing the place above the point you complain.
That is :-

Notice , that x11vnc would work , but not under Xen Hypervisor.
So,
installed via Synaptic all SDL libraries and vnc4server. Updated
~.vnc/xstartup to start fluxbox in background. Updated /etc/rc.local :-

[Bridge] Update lists.osdl.org to lists.linux-foundation.org
lists.linux-foundation.org seems to be funtional now,
so I guess it is as good a time as any to update
the MAINTAINERS file.

There are still some http links to osdl.org, but
I'm not sure if they should be updated, and if so,
what they should be updated to.

[Bridge] Update OSDL/Linux-Foundation maintainer addresses
Hi,
I'm not sure if this is apprriate or not, but here goes anyway.
The patch below updates MAINTAIER address
Individuals (Only Andrew :): osdl.org -> linux-foundation.org
Lists: osdl.org -> lists.osdl.org
I assume the latter will change at some stage, but at least
with this change the osdl/linux-foundation lists are consistent.
