Proximity searching in rdig ferret
Lucene has a syntax "foo bar"~10 for finding foo within 10 words of bar. Does ferret support this feature? (the ~ is used for fuzzy queries) Does rdig? This could be a deal breaker for me ''cos I really need proximity searches -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

bilingual site: exclude fields set from query
Hi all, Is there a way to have searches no use some indexed fields, when processing a query? context: I have a model Foo that holds some information in two languages : - text1_nl, text2_nl, text3_nl and - text1_en, text2_en, text3_en Some other fields are common to both languages and indexed as well - first_name, last_name Depending on the visitor language choice I need to exclude the

Fuzzy search on a phrase
I''m trying to use Ferret to do fuzzy searches. If I use fuzzy search for just one word, it works fine: index.search(''name:gogle~0.4'') However, if I try to use a phrase, it doesn''t work: index.search(''name:"gogle search engine"~0.4'') On the other hand, I could do: index.search(''name:gogle~0.4 AND

Regexpr. analyzer
Hi! I want to index html files, but w/o the tags, so I was thinking either I remove them before I index it (expensive), or put up an RegExpAnalyzer. BTW, when using an analyzer, does that mean that everything which it declines (i.e. the RegExpAnalyzer doesn''t match) won''t be put into the index files (i.e. blows it up)? I came up with a simple test, which didn''t

No search results using Searcher
I just started using Ferret and I successfully indexed some documents. I can search this index using the following code: index = Index::Index.new(:path => path) index.search_each("something") do |doc, score| print "##{doc} #{index[doc][''url'']} - #{score}" print "\n" end However, when I try to use Search::Searcher and QueryParser

How to add Asia token analyzer to ferret simply?
Hi,David Can you give me an example of how to add analyzer to ferret to Asian languages? My web application will have to support multi language search, which means, for example, both Chinese and English will be searched through the form. Currently,I have decided to use the simple token principles, which means that every Chinese character will be a token, although this is not so well in some

Which analyzer to use
Lucene''s standard analyzer splits words separater with underscores. Ferret doesn''t do this. For example, if I create an index with only document ''test_case'' and search for ''case'' it doesn''t find anything. Lucene on the other hand finds it. The same story goes for words separated by colons. Which analyzer should I use to emulate

Ferret and non latin characters support
I''ve successfully installed ferret and acts_as_ferret and have no problem with utf-8 for accented characters. It returns correct results fot e.g. fran?ais. My problem is with non latin characters (Persian indeed). I have tested different locales with no success both on Debian and Mac. Any idea? [PATCH net-next 0/3] basic in order support for vhost_net
Hi: This series implement basic in order feature support for vhost_net. This feature requires both driver and device to use descriptors in order which can simplify the implementation and optimizaton for both side. The series also implement a simple optimization that avoid read available ring. Test shows 10% performance improvement. More optimizations could be done on top. Jason Wang (3):

Bridging on the blink with greater than 2 xen domains
Hi, My bridging stops when I start a third Xen domain !?!? I have a few domains setup (mail, wiki, pbx). If I start two domains bridge networking works great. But if I start a third, either the new domains does not work or one of the other DomUs stops working! By stop working I mean I can''t route traffic outside of Dom0. I have been looking at this on and off for a couple of weeks.

Seeing the IP addresses of domUs from dom0
Using a default xen3.0.1 setup for dom0(rhel4 distro) and domUs (gentoo, rhel4, centos4.2 distros, ttylinux) with the domUs all having dhcp turned on, is there an easy way to tell from within the dom0 what ip addresses were assigned to the domUs after bootup? [PATCH net-next 3/3] vhost: don't touch avail ring if in_order is negotiated

So I don't think you can

Welcome to the "Xapian-discuss" mailing list
Hi, I'm new to Xapian and wanted to know if it has a specific feature. I want to be able to check the relation between two terms on a page based on how close they are together on the page. I want to use a combination of n-gram based labeling and the "slop" feature found in Elasticsearch. Does Xapian have this/a similar feature? I haven't been able to find any programs that have

nbdkit problem with cache/cow and unaligned sizes
Right now, the cache and cow filters always round up requests to blksize boundaries (blksize for cache is dynamically determined at connection start, for cow is fixed as BLKSIZE). Which is fine for the bulk of the underlying file, but can cause problems when reading past EOF for a partial tail of an underlying plugin. We aren't validating that filter calls to next_ops are within bounds; and

presentation at kvm forum and pagefaults
Regarding the presentation I gave at the kvm forum on pagefaults. Two points: 1. pagefaults are important not just for migration. They are important for performance features such as autonuma and huge pages, since this relies on moving pages around. Migration can maybe be solved by switch to software but this is not a good solution for numa and thp since at a given time some page is likely

How to automatically store the macAddress in AD
Hi list, Does someone know a way to automatically store the hwaddress in the AD? I'm using Veyon in my school to manage the students PCs and if the hwadress is populated in the AD, the Room configuration can be set with AD otherwise i have to manage rooms manually. I'm using samba4 with bind and isc-dhcp-server are on the same server. Can we use scripts or some ways? thanks in advance

Hardware ASan Generating Unknown Instruction
I suspect that this is hitting the issue that I mentioned here: https://reviews.llvm.org/D65857#1621335 We may need to do what I suggested there and restrict global tag entropy on non-Android Linux to 7 bits. You can try working around this issue for now by using lld as the linker (-fuse-ld=lld). Peter On Mon, Jun 22, 2020 at 1:37 PM Mitch Phillips via llvm-dev < llvm-dev at
