CDR changes in 1.4.3?
Hello all: I upgraded to 1.4.3 last night and use MySQL for CDR. I have noticed that 1.4.3 seems to log a lot of "crap" to CDR that 1.4.2 did not. I use a few macros in my dialplan to handle outgoing calls (lcr type stuff) and in addition to the proper CDR for the call itself I also have records to 's' in the same dest-context and entries to 's' in the default context.

zaptel huge irq problem
Hello, I had noticed strange crackling sound on my phone calls going through my zaptel device (TDM400P), so i decided to check on possible timer issue, and found lots of issues on forums concerning the sensibility of zaptel with IRQs, and tried about everything: moving PCI slots, noapic and acpi=off boot options, play with different kernel options: iosched/preemption/timer/..., play with

SIP, NAT, and load balancing problems
Hello all, I have a linux machine with a SIP server (Asterisk) and 2 WAN interfaces (NATed) configured to do load balancing. I experienced problems with the SIP/RTP protocols and load balancing, because when initiating a call to an external SIP Host, a new RTP flow starts from the server to the Host, that sometimes uses another default route (due to the nexthop configuration). As i have two

Dom0 crashing on x86_64
I am seeing a problem with Dom0 crashing on x86_64 whenever I create a DomU. I''ve done some more testing, and it appears that this problem is somehow related to networking. Dom0 crashes as soon as the networking services are started when DomU is coming up. As an experiment, I brought up DomU without networking, and it stayed up. As soon as I started DomU with networking enabled, however,

Very slow domU network performance
I set up a domU as a backup server, but it has very, very poor network performance with external computers. I ran some tests with iperf and found some very weird results. Using iperf, I get these approximate numbers (the left column is the iperf client and the right column is the iperf server): domU --> domU 1.77 Gbits/sec (using 127.0.0.1) domU --> domU 1.85 Gbits/sec (using domU

PV Lenny 32 bits into 64 bits dom0 - Grub / kernel problem
Hello, I can''t solve my problem. I want a 32 bits Lenny domU into a 64 bits Lenny dom0. I plan to use pygrub for that (xen 3.2.1). So, I tried to debootstrap a 32 bits domU into a 64 bits dom0. debootstrap --arch=i386 --include=libc6-xen,firmware-bnx2,linux-image-2.6.26-1-xen-686,linux-modules-xen-686,linux-image-xen-686,grub --components=main,contrib,non-free lenny /mnt/xen

xl doesn't honour the parameter cpu_weight from my config file while xm does honour it
Hi, I''ve installed xen-unstable 4.2 from actual git (last commit was 4dc7dbef5400f0608321d579aebb57f933e8f707). When I start a domU with xm all is fine include the cpu_weight I configured in my domU config. When I start the domU with xl then all my domU have the default cpu_weight of 256 instead of the configured one. Was the name of cpu_weight being changed for xl command ? My domU

Time/clock issues with Xen 3.0.3?
The time appears to be perfect inside dom0, however all the domU''s tend to have a slightly faster date which gets further out of sync every day. I''m currently using Xen 3.0.3 with Gentoo Linux, under 3.0.2 I had no problems with domU clocks. Are there any known issues which could cause this? I''d strongly prefer not to run ntpd in every domU, having all domU clocks in

Debian/squeeze: domU live migraton hangs
Hi, In view of the problems I was having with DomU network timeout after a live migration (I posted that problems here a while ago but never got anything except from private emails) I finally updated my Debian/Squeeze Dom0s last night to a new kernel, from 2.6.32-23 to 2.6.32-26. Now live migration just hangs...Any ideas? Xen-related Debian packages (all from Debian repositary, except drbd

Arinc653 does not run VM
Hi, I am using Xen 4.2.3 installed on an Intel Atom with a Debian Dom0 and 3 Debian domU''s installed. I am trying to run some benchmarks using the Arinc653 scheduler. I have edited my grub options to boot with ''maxcpus=1 sched=arinc653'' options. I can boot the dom0 and verify that the scheduler is enabled. However when I xl create, the VM is created but I cannot

Same IRQ in dom0 and domU by different hardware causes dom0 crash
Hi, this is my first mail in this list. I''ve installed Xen in Debian Etch and created a virtual domU Debian Etch as well. In domU I''ve installed an Asterisk and want to use a Beronet ISDN card: ~# lspci 0a:01.0 ISDN controller: GmbH ISDN network Controller [HFC-4S] (rev 01) So I pass the iSDN card PCI to domU by adding in dom0 "/boot/grub/menu.lst": --- module

install other OS to unprivileged domain
Dear all, I have set up one unprivileged Domain-1 with help of FedoraQuickStart and some help from you. Now I want to install some other OS to Domain-2. How can I install a different OS (say Redhat 7.3) onto a unprivileged domain? Do I have to copy all files from an existed installation to an image file? Thanks, Koala _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list

Weird network performance behaviour?
I'm recording TCP network throughput performance between Dom0 IP stack and all my guest domains (currently 6 running simultaneously). All guests are running simultaneously, but I only ever transmit between Dom0 and one of the DomUs while the other five are idle. When running a netperf TCP_STREAM test (netperf on Dom0, netserver on DomU) I record the following performance numbers, CPU % as

Dom0 and Domu sharing a physical IRQ results in eventual crash
I have one xen machine where dom0 libata and pcibacked domU eth0 share a physical IRQ. I thought that the disk was bad (cause the system was crashing and giveing me disk errors) and replaced it with an IDE disk connected to a pcibacked SATA-IDE combo card. Problem seems to have gone away. The machine runs stably and hasn''t crashed yet. Now I have another machine where I pciback usb.
