mini-os: C programming
2 questions on the code of mini-os (the one in XEN 3.0.3):
1. In xen-3.0.3/extras/mini-os/mm.c:52 is a declaration of stack
extern char *stack;
but in file xen-3.0.3/extras/mini-os/arch/x86/setup.c:48, there is also
a decl of stack:
char stack[8192];
If one dereferences the variable stack, which is apparently not the case
yet, it gives surely a segfault!

[PATCH] Accurate vcpu weighting for credit scheduler
Hi,
This patch intends to accurate vcpu weighting
for CPU intensive job.
The reason of this problem is that
vcpu round-robin queue blocks large weight vcpus
by small weight vcpus.
For example, we assume following case on 2pcpu environment.
(with 4domains (each domain has 2vcpus))
dom1 vcpu0,1 w128 credit 4
dom2 vcpu0,1 w128 credit 4
dom3 vcpu0,1 w256 credit 8
dom4 vcpu0,1 w512 credit 15

Question about "Hosted Xen" Status
Hi,
I have a question about "Hosted Xen".
I saw it on Ian''s presentation document.
But It does not contain enough information.
1)The code is available?
2)Would you show me the document URL about "Hosted Xen"?

[PATCH] Add SCHEDOP_block_on
This patch adds a facility to block on a particular event channel, for
when a domain needs to block, but cannot enable interrupts. A domain
uses the call something like this:
while (1) {
clear_evtchn_pending(evtchn);
if (check_for_data(evtchn))
break;
HYPERVISOR_block_on(evtchn);
}
The clear of the pending is needed to ensure that any subsequent calls
to block_on() don''t

[PATCH] pciback: restore PCI BARs on D3->D0 transition
Ever since xen-unstable cset 14308 ("pci back: Fix registration of of
filters on subsections of config space") I''ve been getting an MCA on the
*2nd* boot of a driver domain using an e1000 NIC. Cset 14308 allowed
the proper setup of the PM control registers, so the NIC is put in the
D3 power state when the driver domain shuts down. Unfortunately,

Dummy account/extension
Hi,
It is possible to create a dummy account (SIP or IAX type) in order to be
used in a "dummy" extension?
I want to be able to use it as a normal extension (as an IP phone connected
to it), but without the need to answer or call from that extension.
I want that when I call that extension to hear the ring, and after the
defined period of time to enter in the Voicemail system.

I don't see libR.so in my installation directory
Hi,
I installed R 2.9.0 a couple of days ago on a
linux machine. At the root of installation,
I see 4 directories: bin, lib64, share, and src.
I don't see libR.so anywhere. (In the following
context, . (dot) indicates the root of my insta-
llation.) I do see:
./lib64/R/lib/libRblas.so
./lib64/R/lib/libRlapack.so
I became aware of such as I was preparing for
an installation of little r.
