Apparently there's a semi-new feature in SYSLINUX that will allow you to, from what I've heard, boot DOS. I've got a portable USB flash drive and I've managed to make it multi-boot with disk images, but that takes quite a bit of memory. Hello Peter, is it possible to boot a CD-Image of a bootable CD (no disk emu) via pxe. I've build up the infrastructure to boot normal floppy images via PXE (under W2K and/or Netware). Hi all, I'm having a bit of an issue booting the full 5.7 install CD on an older machine. I downloaded the ISOs earlier today, checked the sha1sums, and burned the CDs with no reported errors. Since that commit, tools/testing/radix-tree/ couldn't pass compilation due to: tools/testing/radix-tree/idr.c:17: undefined reference to WARN_ON_ONCE. When experimenting with compiling GRUB2 with clang using integrated as, I found out that it generates a 16-bit code bigger than gas counterpart and result gets too big for size constraints of bootsector.
