in place edit, save on blur
I thought I''d seen some discussion on this, but can''t find it. I have
a text area that I''d like to save on blur unless the user clicks
cancel. Anyone got a nice example of this? It''s non-obvious to me
how I force the submit via javascript. Thanks,

Adding vertical line to histogram and qplot "stacked" plot
R-users it appears I am leaning on your knowledge once again. Is there any way to add a vertical line to a histogram and qplot "stacked" plot? Here is my current attempt:
"qplot" approach attempt:
qplot(Run, data = data_dataframe, breaks = breaks, fill = Temperature, main = short_title) + scale_x_continuous("Data") + scale_y_continuous("Freq")

Changing histogram stack in qplot
I've been using qplot pretty successfully to generate stacked histograms. However, it appears that I need to tweak the colors a little.
I've got three temperature variables (characters not numeric) and I need to change from the default qplot colors to the following:
Low = Blue
Middle = black
High = Red
Here is pseudo code of what I have currently:qplot(Run, data = TestData, breaks =

swig_up
Tracing down some things to add in validators and I''ve run across
something that kinda bothers me...
In order to implement validators you have to override the clone method.
The directors seems to be set up to specifically handle this situation.
However, whenever C++ calls back to the object''s methods the swig_get_up
function is returning false. It seems like swig_up

tk + browser() can leave R unresponsive
I don't know if this is a bug. I can reproduce the following on Ubuntu
12.04.2 and 13.04 64-bit with R version 3.0.1 and with r63479. There
is no difference if R is patched with the fix for PR#15407 or not,
although without the fix there are more ways to trigger this.
I can reproduce with the following:
1. Open R in gnome-terminal or xterm
2. Run 'library(tcltk)'
3. Run

RFC: faster simplifyInstructionsInBlock/SimplifyInstructions pass
LLVM has two similar bits of infrastructure: a simplifyInstructionsInBlock function and a SimplifyInstructions pass, both intended to be lightweight “fix up this code without doing serious optimizations” functions, as far as I can tell. I don’t think either is used in a performance-sensitive place in-tree; the former is mostly called in minor places when doing CFG twiddling, and the latter seems

'Are you sure?' custom dialog not exiting cleanly
The following program does not exit cleanly after pressing ''Yes'' when asked
''Are you sure''?
How do I free up the resources after exiting? You can use wxsugar (xrcise)
to try out this mini program
if you wish to create sample1.rb . Thank you.

[PATCH 0/2] p2v: Allow virt-p2v to be built with Gtk 2 or 3.
... and a small initial patch which makes it easier to test virt-p2v
without having to start up a virtual machine.
There is still a bug in Gtk 3 where the GtkTextView on the final
(running) dialog ignores gtk_widget_set_size_request and so the window
appears just a single pixel high.

[LLVMdev] Appropriate DS for implementing worklist
Hi,
I am writing an analysis which requires creating worklist of basic blocks.
The worklist should be in FIFO order. I checked SmallVector (and similar
others) and found out this is working in LIFO order when I use the
functions push_back and pop_back_val to insert and delete elements in the
worklist.
Can someone suggest an appropriate DS to implement my worklist. Note: I am
not concerned about

[PATCH v2 0/3] p2v: Allow virt-p2v to be built with Gtk 2 or 3.
This is basically the same as what I posted earlier today. The main
difference is I split out the GDK thread sychronization (removal of)
changes from the other Gtk 2/3 changes, which should make it a bit
easier to review.
Gtk 3 is still not quite perfect. Apart from the problem with the
GtkTextView noted before, there are also vertical alignment and
padding problems with labels in GtkGrid

GUI commands to call for a protein from protein data bank
What I am trying to do is use GUI function, traitr, and to call for a pdb
file and save it and then display it. I want to call for it by taking it
from the user and then displaying it on the screen. I am having problems
with that. The line pdb <- read.pdb(""ProteinCode) where proteincode should
be the name of the protein, for example 1ly2, but it always ends up being
protein. My

Running code after a modal dialog is shown
Hi all,
I''m looking for a way to get a block of code to execute once a modal
dialog has been displayed (via a call to show_modal.) I was hoping to
find some event that would fire when the window was shown, but the only
one that seemed vaguely promising (evt_window_create) seems to do nothing
at all, at least in my environment (Ruby 1.9.1 on Win32, wxruby 2.0.1.)

[LLVMdev] Appropriate DS for implementing worklist
Thank you David for prompt reply.
I tried with SmallVector. I inserted elements with push_back().
But when I retrieve elements using pop_back_val the elements are returned
in reverse order of insertion (I mean like LIFO order).
I need this to be FIFO order. How to achieve that?

Rekha

Optimizing diamond pattern in DAGCombine
The root problem is that, when A gets modified, D doesn't get added back to
the worklist. I could match the pattern on A, but the problem remains: when
D gets modified, A do not get added back tot he worklist.
I also considered ding several round of DAGCombine, but it is very easy to
run into infinite loops, even with a fair amount of sanity checks.

Optimizing diamond pattern in DAGCombine
Explicitly re-adding a node to be processed doesn't work, because the
processing order is canonical.
