[Patch] Rate-limit timer ISR warning printks
Hi all, Using a slow serial console with sync_console on SMP leaves me with an unusable system: it gets into a flood of Timer ISR/0: Time went backwards: delta=-3566279 cpu_delta=16433721 shadow=2019998373 off=420435384 processed=2444000000 cpu_processed=2424000000 0: 2424000000 1: 2444000000 messages which swamps the console and leaves things almost, but not quite, completely hung. AW: Clocksources and other mysteries
It''s everytime when cpufreq_ondemand or cpufreq-set changes the frequency, aprox. 3 messages per event. Is that occasional? I tend to say: no. Please see an excerpt below. And if it''s not occasional, what could I do? And by the way: I found no code that TSC will get adjusted, so I think it will get worse over the time... I have problems to get Xen 3.0 working on my notebook (FSC AMILO Pro V3205). I already used different operating systems for the xen0 domain, like FC5, SUSE 10.1 und Debian SID (2.6.16-2-xen-smp) but i always run into the same trouble. When I try to start a xenU domain it always hangs and I get this: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- debian37:~# xm create

Alternate Storage altmove not working bug
Hello everyone! I would like to report a bug here. We are using dovecot's sdbox with alternate storage here. From time to time my SSD partition gets full and I always find users with lots of e-mails stuck there, and altmove just won't move them. It moves most of the e-mails correctly, but a few was getting stuck everyday. So, I think I have found the problem! When a user moves the

using dsync to convert mailboxes looses caching options
Hi there, We're trying to convert users from Maildir to sdbox at present; I'm using dsync to achieve this (2.0.16) however when the user's have been converted we only get minimal information in the caching files. Is there some way to preserve all the caching decisions that were previously made so that when the user logs in to the new mailbox we don't have to cause an io storm

Lock file issues
First off, just want to say Dovecot is great! We have been using it for several months now in a fairly large installation with only a few problems. We are running 1.0.rc28 on three servers with 3 Horde/IMP boxes talking to Dovecot. The user's home dirs are located on an NFS server and the indexes are stored in their Maildirs. I have mmap_disable=yes and lock_method=dotlock in dovecot.conf.
