Using the 2.0.6 demo cd image, I booted the supplied freebsd image and rsync''d
the file system to an NFS server. However I don not seem to be able to
succesfully boot from it the system just hangs here:

I have modified /sbin/start_freebsd.sh and /etc/xen/freebsd.py to generate

Ast.1.0.9 (only) strange problem with IAX and DDNS
Asterisk 1.0.9: IAX2 registration timeout!
---
I have 2 locations with ADSL lines, both with dynamic IP (+ dynamic
DNS).
On location 1 => Asterisk 1.0.RC2 / Slackware 10
On location 2 => Asterisk 1.0.9 / Slackware 10
They are on private network and connected via IAX2 through
NAT(win2000server), and registering to DDNS name of each other.
I know that Asterisk is not very smart on handling

[PATCH] disable writable pagetables on FreeBSD
Presumably as a result of recent changes, FreeBSD no longer works with
writable page tables. In the short-term I''m more interested in
functionality than performance. This patch disables them and fixes a
compile issue.

Attempting to boot into ramdisk on 8.3
I have a build process (which worked at release 7.3) that makes a

it panics right after reporting the real memory size with:

RE: [GIT/PATCH 0/5] Re: unfair servicing of DomU vbd requests
Hi James.
I go through the patch, since all its changes happens inside __xen_evtchn_do_upcall(),
so I apply the patch into my 2.6.31.kernel by manual. (I was failed to merge a usable,
2.6.38dom0, since quite a lot branch needed, such as blkback, netback)
But still, the blue screen shows up. Log attached.
Is the timeout better than before?
Beside, I think I need find some to examine my

[PATCH][discuss] evtchn race condition
Keir,
below/attached patch is necessary to allow SVM partitions to boot
unmodified guests with xen-unstable.hg c/s 8961. c/s 8822 and 8828
(some necessary evtchn modifications) cause SVM partitions to fail with
"lost interrupt" hda error during boot.
We currently do not understand why these modifications are necessary and
in fact, a race occurs with one part of the patch (added

I would also like to help as well.
As KMacy knows before i asked a lot of questions for T2 types of
servers but unfortunately i have no more access to those kind of
hardware as well.
I;m willing to participate if a team will be formated.

powerd not behaving with an Asus A8V-MX and Athlon 64 X2 3800+
I have an Asus A8V-MX motherboard with an AMD Athlong 64 X2 3800+ CPU
and I'm trying to run powerd to keep it cooler/quieter/greener.
I'm running -STABLE (6.1-RC) cvsup'ed a couple of days ago, with a
kernel config that consists of the SMP sample plus an atapicam
device.
I'm loading the cpufreq.ko module in /boot/loader.conf.
I've attached my dmesg output and sysctl -a
