sharing scsi disk beetween two freesbd's ...
I want to use one scsi disk with two redondant servers, mounted r/w on server A and r/o on server B. Everything works, except that when I write data from server A, I can't read it on server B before un-mounting the disk ant re-mounting it... (with AND without soft-updates) Is there any way to mount a disk r/o keeping in sync with real disk data ? Thank you. -- Geoffroy DESVERNAY

Node removed but still in routing infoormation
Hello, I have removed a nod from my tinc network, but his informations (owned subnet and ip address) are still present in the internal routing table. I think that even if the node is not reachable anymore (his ip is, but not the tinc daemon on it), his routing information "lives" beetween nodes. Is this possible or do i need to sleep a bit !? ;-) Do i need to stop all nodes, then

regression output to latex
hello everybody i was seeking a converter beetween R regression output (eg with summary) and the conventional way to present regression output in paper: every model as a vertical vector with \beta, t beetween parenthesis below the first, and other statistics (R^2 etc) . I've seen hmisc and xtable, and if I didn't miss something, they don't include something like that. Thank you

Interface bound routing
Hi, I''m sorry for "novice"-level question, but I hope your expert advice will save me many painful hours running after my own tail... Let assume I have Linux box with eth0, eth1 and eth2 interfaces. Each one has IP assigned from different network. By default, IP address associated with eth0 is chosen as default routing. My application creates thee TCP sockets and explicitly

Sortable list with Ajax and delete function
Hi, After looking without any luck at different places for a working demo for sortable lists I created one. Simple lists are not a problem but lists that looks like a tree seems more complicated. As demo you can have a look at: http://demo.mediafamily.ro/link.php?id=1 What I couldn''t manage is to be able to move the nodes beetween them. For example some childs to move to an upper

Hi! I have some focus problems with wine if I use the managed mode. When I start the application it has focus. But if I switch to another window, and back, then the window gets its focus (the window decorations shows it), but the windows app does not get it. If I click somewhere in the window, then it gets the focus properly, but before that even the shortcuts does not work. With one app it

Cluster analysis of protein time series
Hello!!! I have a question about clustering. I'll present my problem first. I have a simulation of a protein trayectory (a file with a time series of protein 3D-coordinates), from it I can calculate the Root Mean Square desviation (RMSD) beetween any pair of structures in the trayectory, which is a rough idea of 3D similarity beetween them. If for every conformation (trayectory frame) I
