[Patch] blktap: Remove some code duplication
With my qcow2 patch to blktap I contributed a bit to the mess, so here an attempt to clean up and remove at least some of the code duplication in the functions dealing with aio operations. This patch is mostly just moving code. Apart from renaming to get common names and such things, only very few changes are needed as big parts of the code were completely identical and obviously created by

[PATCH] blktap: Automatically start tapdisk-ioemu on demand
When a domain wants to use a tap:ioemu disk but has no device model, start a tapdisk-ioemu instance as provider. Also, move the creation and removal of communication pipes to xend so that qemu-dm doesn''t need the unwanted SIGHUP handler anymore. [PATCH] qemu-xen: Fix open_disk for blktap disks
qemu-xen: Fix open_disk for blktap disks If blktap drives are registered properly, qemu code is much less likely to get confused by them. Use bdrv_new(), assign a device name and create an entry in drives_table for them. Time for 4.2.0 rc0?
Hey Keir, I committed the last of the big outstanding tools blockers for 4.2 yesterday. Currently they are still in staging because they added some new xenstore paths which tickled the leak detector in the test system What do you think of doing an rc0 release next week? There''s still some smaller issues remaining but I think they can wait until rc1. Ian.

Bug#666135: [PATCH] xen-xs: fix uuid of renamed domain
When the XenStore tdb lives persistently and is not cleared between host reboots, Xend (version 3.4 and 4.1) re-creates the domain information located in XenStore below /vm/$UUID. (According to the xen-3.2-commit hg265950e3df69 to fix a problem when locally migrating a domain to the host itself.) When doing so a version number is added to the UUID separated by one dash, which confuses

It is experimental. -compat deprecated-input=<in-policy> configures what to do when deprecated input is received. Available policies: * accept: Accept deprecated commands and arguments (default) * reject: Reject them * crash: Crash

xenfs: race condition on xenstore watch
Dear xen-devel, There''s a race condition in xenfs (xenstore driver) that causes userspace utility xenstore-watch to crash. Normally, the userspace process gets an "OK" from xenfs and then the watch fires immediately after. Occasionally, this happens the other way around: the watch fires before the driver sends "OK", which confuses the xenstore-watch client. It seems
