[PATCH] kexec-tools: Read always one vmcoreinfo file
vmcoreinfo file could exists under /sys/kernel (valid on baremetal only) and/or under /sys/hypervisor (valid when Xen dom0 is running). Read only one of them. It means that only one PT_NOTE will be always created. Remove extra code for second PT_NOTE creation. Fw: [RFC] makedumpfile: xen extraction
Hi, I sent the following e-mail to kexec-mailing list (kexec@lists.infradead.org) since subjects of makedumpfile are discussed on the mailing list. I want to inform this to xen developers since I think this function is useful for xen developers. Thanks. Itsuro Oda (see https://sourceforge.net/projects/makedumpfile/ about makedumpfile command.) Announce list filters
Hi, (sorry, new thread, already dropped the previous postings) Johnny H. just posted a surprising feature: filtering options for the announce list. But they don't seem to be right or there is no announce standard. Pasi is posting storms of non i386 things. He uses: "CentOS 3 s390" the filter has: "CentOS-3 s390" Regards, -- Henk van Lingen, Systems & Network

[PATCH] Support cross-bitness guest when core-dumping
This patch allows core-dumping to work on a cross-bit host/guest configuration, whereas previously that was not supported. It supports both PV and FV guests. The core file format generated by the host, needs to match that of the guest, so an alignment issue is addressed, along with the p2m frame list handling being done according to the guest size. Extension buttons
I've downloaded the entire archive of articles and searched through them for an answer on this, but I haven't come across one yet. I'm looking to replace a small phone system in my church with Asterisk, and I'm stuck looking for phones. I know that the staff are going to want a button for their commonly-called extensions, but I'm having trouble finding phones that have, say, 10

Zelig, oprobit error
Hello, I'm getting an error message when I use the ordered probit model "oprobit" in the zelig function. Using the same form as in the help file, we get an error message. It produces coefficients, but no standard errors. See results below. Any hints? Thanks! > > o.probit <- zelig(as.factor(checks.change) ~ Oda + Oil + sh_neg + sh_pos + checks1,

read only maildir
Hello All, I try to set up a read only maildir just as in the wiki, to no avail. The extra (public) namespace shows up but I can not susbscribe to it (in thunderbird) or if I change to that "directory" (in mutt), it is empty. Is it the problem mentioned in the wiki (SharedMailboxes#Subscriptions)? If yes, how can I see/use a folder which is not subscribeable? Any help would be

self organizing map advice for categorical data
Hello, Could anybody offer any advice about implementing a Kohonen self organizing map for categorical data? Specifically I am wondering if there are any pre-existent packages that can deal with categorical data and/or how one would compare the input vector of categoricals with the self organizing map nodes. Thanks in advance. George Chen ----- Original Message ----- From: r-help-request at
