data overrun on SCSI drive
I have a system that I just installed with CentOS 4.0. It is an HP
NetServer E 60 with dual CPUs and 1G RAM. There is an Adaptec AIC-7895
built into the motherboard.
On bootup, I get this:
(scsi0:A:1): 11.626MB/s transfers (5.813MHz, offset 8, 16bit)
(scsi0:A:1:0): data overrun detected in Data-in phase. Tag == 0x2.
(scsi0:A:1:0): Have seen Data Phase. Length = 255. NumSGs = 1.

Resize all partitions bigger
I effectively have 1 drive /dev/sda (it's actually a hardware raid 10 array)
I have lots of free sapce. I want to resize my partitions (boot, home,
/) bigger.
Going to use Clonezilla to make an image of each partition and save it
on another box.
Then re-partition and format new bigger partitions.
Then restore images with Clonezilla.
But I know UUID's will be wrong and I don't feel

CentOS4.3 - x86_64 - lockups
Hi
I have a box that is a Linux LVS project based load balancer running on
an 1850 and x86_64 bit version of CentOS. In the past i have never had
issues with LVS but then again i have never tried it with x86_64 linux.
This box will after a variable about of time, 1 day upto a week or so,
stop accepting ssh connections, although http connections will be fine,

Hi all!

available bases the decision on how the firewall has marked the packet and on
http://lartc.org/howto/lartc.qdisc.filters.html the following example:

Box is i4790 w. GTX 980 running virgin master (.today).
All I have to do to trigger a slew of these warnings is to fire up
firefox, point it at a youtube clip, and let it autoplay while I do
routine kernel merge/build maintenance. nouveau doesn't seem to care
deeply, but moans again and again and again...

SW:KOTOR gets nothing from keyboard or mouse
Hello all.
I've installed Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic.
The game seems to run fine, except that the mouse pointer is stuck in the
center of the screen: I can move it a little, but it alwas come back to the
center.
After investigation, I started the game with native dinput. This time, the
mouse works fine, but know it's the keyboard that doesn't work anymore (it

After two days of banging on this issue I have reached two
resolutions.
1. Flashing the 3ware card to latest firmware (3.08.00.016) seems to have
solved it with all kernel versions. This is highly recommended that

file transfer freeze with SW [smbiod] process..
ahoy all.
working 2 machines, both with fedora core 2 Linux 2.6.8-1.521 and the
following samba config:
samba-common-3.0.7-2.FC2
system-config-samba-1.2.9-2
samba-client-3.0.7-2.FC2
samba-3.0.7-2.FC2
can mount and unmount samba shares fine. however, once any file
transfer or seek or whatever (i.e. nautilus to view mounted folders,
xmms to access files on mounted share, etc.) io with samba

What SW/HW phones support sendtext feature (trying to send speech recognition results back to user)?
Hi,
we've proof of conecpt system for speech recognition on Asterisk. We would
like to send results of recognition back to user in standard way.
Currently we're considering using sendtext command and it works with
Firefly. But I'm curious what soft or hard ip phones that can connect to
Asterisk support such feature ?
Also what softphone would be most suitable for further work in

Avaya 4620 SW SIP Config - not setting Proxy/Registrar
I'm using the latest SIP firmware from Avaya. The phone receives the
46xxsettings.txt OK, and then after entering extension and password it
goes to the home screen saying 'Registering'. When I check
options->ViewIPSettings->IPAddresses on the phone,
the registrar and SIP Proxy fields are blank.
I have both lines: SET SIPREGISTRAR "67.1XX.XX.XX" and SET

[mesa v3 8/9] nvc0: remove use of deprecated sw class identifier

Also emits a method to properly bind the class to a subchannel, which
was missing previously. The kernel currently doesn't care, but this
will break if it ever decides to (ie. to support multiple sw classes).
