Hi, Keir, Currently, HVM guests do not have access to performance counters. So it is not possible to use performance analyzer software such as vtune in HVM guest to analyze programme performance. Other usage of performance counters , for example, the NMI watchdog, won''t function either. This patch will enable performance counters in HVM guest. Currently, only Core 2 Duo is implemented.

Hi, Xenoprof buffers are mapped into the kernel using direct_kernel_remap_pfn_range(). I need to unmap the buffer when it is not needed anymore. However, I could not find any function that unmaps pages previously mapped with direct_kernel_remap_pfn_range(). Any suggestion on how to do this? The problem was because it is missing the "loop" module. the hotplug loads it automatically, while udev does not. The error xenoprof: Initialization failed.
